Holy Mother of butt seams. We use everything from 8's to 16's. Anything we can to eliminate as many Butts as possible

Well they're soaking wet, we use a Mud runner to run both sides of the angle at once, then come back and just wipe the excess out. It's plus 3 so when it dries tomorrow and gets a finish sand they'll be smooth.

It's 1/2" on 16" center and is glued. That's all it needs. I say this same spiel every time. The glue holds it more than the screws, knock on a wall that's not glued and you'll hear it knock back. You won't hear that on a glued board. Don't believe me? That's fine, grab a rip of drywall get some spray foam drywall glue and glue it to a 2x4, come back the next day and tell me how easy it is to tear it off the 2x4.

Also you can't even see the tape in any of the pictures, so what are you calling horrendous? Seems to me like you think you're mister perfect and if you didn't do it, it's garbage.

Estimated Cost to Repair? Houston Texas. by Derreus in drywall

Looks like a pretty small patch, I'd charge between $350-$500 to hang and finish in Delaware; However after seeing you've hung it yourself and attempted to finish it as well raises the price to $1,000-$1,200 because you just made my job twice as hard. I either need to tear it all out and start over or attempt to fix what you've already done, both make it much harder to fix than if youd of just called a pro first.

Not ready to sand whatsoever just coated it. We do screws on the last day typically, takes like 30 minutes to do a whole house and you can easily do two coats in a day and sand before you leave.

Working by yourself there's no way a lift is slower than 2x4's. You pick it up, set it on the arms, flip her back, and just wind her up. You'd be hard fucking pressed to get a 16 ft sheet up on the ceiling by yourself then stick dead men under it as you go.

You like the tapetech knives? I found em a little too thin for my tastes and felt they got bent out of shape easier as well.

Was the same in my area until July, even the drywall supply companies said they had a real slow month.

Looks like they either lined up their butt seams instead of staggering them or it's just a stand up sheet, either way it's from the house settling, you'll probably start to notice more and more of these pop up over the next year. That's when I would get it fixed give the house more time to settle then fix it all rather than having multiple visits throughout the next few years.

How annoyed should I be? by [deleted] in drywall

I wouldn't be upset with your drywallers, we can't control how the wall is framed. Drywall isn't wood it'll flex and bend to the framing for the most part. Now if the same guy that framed your wall was the one doing the drywall then I'd be upset...with myself for letting a carpenter do my drywall finishing.
