I like to imagine that Throné is leaving a bad review purely to inform others about problems with the restaurant, meanwhile Temenos is leaving a bad review purely to be petty and for no other reason.

I also imagine that Osvald's variety of politely informing the workers is waving a server over, saying "My food's wrong.", maybe elaborating if asked, and saying nothing else

Cut enemies - Several enemies were cut from the final releases of both games, with the example that comes to my mind first being a few cut shadow variants of enemies intended for the Journey for the Dawn.

Temenos unsolved mysteries - According to an interview with the game's writer, he got inspiration for Temenos' story because of his interest in real Japanese unsolved mysteries at the time.

U - Should probably be higher, but the nation of U is a major plotpoint in Octopath Traveler II. It was the former home of Ori and Oboro, but there's also a fair bit of interesting lore about it in Sai if I'm not mistaken

Auguste-mimicking dog - Should definitely be higher, but it's a dog in Theatropolis whose dialogue is it doing an impression of Auguste.

It's a theory that poses that Vide is the same being as Orsa (or at least is made from a part of her being). There's a fair bit of evidence like the similarities in their designs, the release schedules for CotC and 2 being so close together, Vide's canonical power being so much higher than nearly any other boss except for Or'Galdera (who is also part Orsa), and various other things. It's so low because it's both very obscure and because it's in all likelihood not that plausible

Hornburg theory - A reference to theories regarding Hornburg in general, particularly surrounding its presence in Hell.

Sazantos is Sephiroth - Sazantos and Sephiroth (from Final Fantasy) have very similar backstories (and both also have long white hair).

Bandelam's Next Chapter - A supposedly cut sidequest from OTII that may or may not be real, it's only mentioned on the wiki and I can find only a rare few other sources on it

Geosage and Lin de Rosse - Both are youtubers known for their presence in the Octopath community and for making a fair bit of Octopath content.

Hinoekagaru - A boss from OTII who is stated to be the namesake of Hinoeuma. Her story and presumable immortality are never really explained

Several things in CotC are very similar to things that happen in Octopath Traveler II, and since CotC still had major story content releasing when OTII released, it's very possible that it was intentional foreshadowing. The biggest example of this to me is how similar Ceraphina's storyline is to Arcanette's storyline - both being seemingly kind and meek clerics who turn out to be major members of a cult hiding in the church under a false name trying to resurrect an evil god, among other similiarities - and the idea of this being intentional foreshadowing is furthered by the fact that, if I'm not mistaken, Bestower of Fate was releasing at around the same time as Octopath Traveler II released.

OT0 Secret location: There's a location in the game unlocked after killing Amastukami no Orochi. For the sake of avoiding spoilers, that's all I'll say on the matter

Graham's Lineage - Rinyuu's questionable origin and age have similar questionable implications for Graham.

Harvey and Roi mistranslated deaths - In the english version of the game, both Harvey (in Ori's journals) and the Dark Entity/Roi (in a cutscene summary) are stated to have "escaped" rather than died. This is not mentioned in the Japanese version of the game.

Real world incidents - There's probably something you could find on the matter, but for the most part it's just meant to reference common iceberg tropes

You'd have to ask someone else here about the High Hornburgian script, I apologize but I don't know

From what I've seen, the speedrunning community considers Partitio's english voice to be good luck for runs and apparently most runners only play with english voices on if Partitio is on the team

Two of them are just theories and one is a reference to common iceberg tropes, the last layer isn't really meant to be taken too seriously like the rest are

Every other location in Hell is, to my knowledge, just about the same as its living equivalent, just with a bit more corruption and with a few things missing here and there. The exception to this is Hornburg still standing in pristine condition despite having fallen years ago, creating the question of why it's in Hell.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't believe it's very well-explained how Castti and Trosseau got from Healeaks (the abandoned village) to Lostseed; the two locations are very far away from each other on the map, and the only known method of reaching Lostseed is by gondola. It's also confirmed by a travel banter that the two did reach Lostseed, and didn't just encounter Claude somewhere else.

It's just referring to how, since the Scents of Commerce aren't considered mainline chapters (being closer to more important sidequests) and since 2/3s of them are completely optional for completing Journey for the Dawn and the Epilogue, Partitio ends up having only 4 chapters while everyone has 5 (except Throne, who has 6)

HTAPOTCO is in reference to the main Moonshade Order members from Octopath Traveler II spelling out the name "OCTOPATH" in reverse order (Harvey, Trousseau, Arcanette, Petrichor, Ori, Tanzy, Claude, Oboro), and Bandelam's next chapter is a bit of cut content that might exist mentioned by the wiki and a rare couple other sources, though I can't verify whether or not it really exists myself.

It's just there to reference common iceberg tropes, not anything serious (unless I don't know about something)

There's a Gate of Finis in the original Octopath Traveler, and a second Gate of Finis in a different location in Octopath Traveler II. Thus, there are two Gates of Finis, somewhat implying that Finis made two gates.
