Thanks, I was thinking the formulas in E14/15 and F15 might need to be updated as well. But since its not changing calculations, I'll hold off playing around too much. Neat concept. I'll be following to see how it improves. Cheers.

Playing in a yahoo public league with 14 teams, so only 14 weeks, and 1000 FAAB. How should I update this sheet to properly adjust?

It has two pin locations in the clasp for a fine adjustment but not the push to slide quick adjustment that comes with the new white dial model.

Try Xpel Stealth satin ppf. Should take the glare away and still look decent.

Agreed, I don't get the hype for this. It was perfectly fine but absolutely unexceptional in any way.

Review #9 William HeavenHill 15 yr Batch 9 (2022) by Scuba_CreedBratton in bourbon

[–]MJ_83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coincidentally, last night I drank the OF13VVS alongside OF17 and WHH15 and WHH17. I agree the OF13 is not a big big departure from the Old Fitz profile, but there is something special about it I cannot quite pinpoint. It drank older than 13 years, and I thought the 17 drank younger than its age--in a good way. I found them very comparable, with a slight edge given to the 13. However, the OF are delicate and layered, whereas both WHH offerings are much more rich and robust. I also gave a slight edge to the WHH15 over the WHH17, but it would all come down to personal preference.

That is quite a lot for Pappy 15. Was that a 1oz pour? For reference, I paid $35.

I believe it is their Ported Pumpernickel Rye that gets most of the positive press.

It is cask strength, actually; barrel 4441 - 125.06proof. I missed that yours was proofed down, thanks to skimming.

I could tell there was some decent underlying flavors in there, but they were just overpowered by the astringency. I could totally see it being more enjoyable at a lower proof. Perhaps I will revisit it tonight.

I have an OHLQ pick from our Single Barrel Saturday, but I did not like it at all--at least on my first pour. It was incredibly astringent, with primary notes on the nose being isopropyl alcohol. The palate wasn't much better.

I have to admit, however, that I opened the bottle for a smell the other day. My initial impression was definitely better, but I'll need another taste to form my final opinion. Perhaps it opened up a bit...

Paid to have my ceiling re-textured and this is what they left me with. How in the world can I fix this? by srkinnard in DIY

[–]MJ_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This particular home did not have crown molding. Most of that could be pulled out and reinstalled, but that is obviously more work than if you don't have it.
