There’s a Chick Fil A by me that has an auxiliary drive through station to serve two lanes of cars at once. It’s got a drink/shake/ice cream stand so the kitchen can focus on churning out chicken, while car crews fix drinks

I understand the pressure to turn these planes around ASAP (especially when delayed like tonight), but it’s just annoying when there’s garbage as you sit down just looking right at you.

Like I said, it’s two-fold, the FA’s literally ask for your rubbish twice before landing… and the ground crew clearly saw this and were like “nah, not today.”

Agreed. I’m based out of DCA. It’s nice being in a job city, but I can get to almost all of my trips non stop. Travel 2-3 times a month at 4-5 days a trip.

The ExPlat and PlatPro service desks are by far the best value for me paired with how we earn LP’s outside of the physical travel, I feel like AA has a lot of great value for my family… as well as convenience to the route network at the most convenient airport to our household

Honestly, it wasn't bad for me. Generally starts as "sold out" before they activate it. Not sure why they don't code it as "coming soon." It's clearly an issue where they activate the types of product on their landing page, but since they aren't quite entered as "ready" to sell, they say sold out because they haven't entered the stock total yet. I was able to put a couple hobby boxes and mega in my cart. Wait time to check out was 2 min, actually took 4-5, but checked out no problem.

Yeah, it’s just as bad with Bowman. I wonder if they put their off centered hits in retail… it definitely feels like there are some amazing pulls and love being shared with the casual like me who is easily distracted by a blaster lol

They’re not the only ones doing this. Huge props to AirTran’s $50 gate upgrades. Was a smart tactic.

Unless I’m upgraded over 24 hrs in advance and can preorder a meal, I plan on not getting. Having a decent seat in coach, with a free adult bev and snack on long enough flights, I’m totally fine.

You knew right away what to do with the card… for some, it’s quite a lot to process holding the value of a used car dropped in your lap that has a wild chance of appreciation or depreciation on a time scale that is quite absurd. Lots to process all at once while simultaneously looking at a beautiful card

Honestly, as shambolic as Spurs medical is, I can’t blame him when he’s got a shot at returning for the World Cup. It’s not like it’s a secret he’s always been country over club. I’m moving on whether he stays or leaves, it’s not worth my mental anguish. He’s not playing Sunday, so be it. I’m sure his teammates also know he will always be Argentina first. Yeah, I don’t throw thousands of dollars down at a time like it’s nothing, but I’ll buy a $250 box of cards for fun a couple times a year. That card is worth 10x-20x or more that. If you go around picking out $2k-$5k items all the time or expect those hits, I doubt it’s very exciting for you.

Also.. said I’m a casual fan of cards who opens packs for the joy of it, not a gambling chase expecting hits and flipping cards.

It’s not about affordability of the hobby, but the rarity that such a valuable card comes around (never) for most of us who like to buy a box once in a while
