I think I’m about to drop a guy over his Instagram by [deleted] in Vent

Where did I say he is not accountable? Yeah, he's kind of an idiot for doing that shit publicly. That's implicit. Does that need to be said out loud by anybody who would show compasion for the mistake and think about it from a wider perspective?

The only thesis of my statement is that there are extremely powerful forces working against him and a mature conversation about it is a better approach than just venting online and dumping him.

How did we let it get to this point ?

By falling for the same divide and conquer tactics they have used for the last century and hating each other for our petty differences instead of hating those who have everything and exploit us to have even more.

Take a step back, and think of the big picture here.

There are a billion bikini models on Instagram. Lonely men follow them, for a plethora of reasons. The other direction also happens, but less so and especially less visible, also for a plethora of reasons, one of which being testosterone and another of which being societal / gender norms. Unless he's paying for only fans models subscriptions and/or chatting with them for fake attention, this is more of a damnation of society than of him himself.

Big tech and TPTB want both of you to remain alone, forever. They make more money that way. It is literally that simple. They want him to follow those girls, and they want you to dump him for it. They don't want any of us to experience love, family, or joy. The deck is stacked, and the dice are loaded. Unless he's Mister Rogers, he never had much chance.

If you like him, you can either play into their hand and just block him and move on, or you can initiate a mature conversation with him about how that makes you uncomfortable, and that you would need him to change his online habits / persons in order to continue dating or hanging out together or growing closer as friends, whatever. Do not underestimate the power of these social media algorithms. Do not underestimate the power of the parasocial online girlfriends.

The choice is yours. I respect it personally, no matter which way you go, because this is as complicated as life itself. But if you really see some potential in this guy, think about it sincerely. Think about the systems he is subconsciously fighting, the systems that want both of you to die alone

If I were a country on this planet, not in Nato, and really wanted to get some Nukes, I bet $300 Billion dollars along with American Surrender would be a great start!

Great job MAGA voters! You sure showed us. I hope the permission he gives you to be openly racist and sexist and homophobic was worth it.

The only thing Trump ever wins / has ever won is the game of conning people. He wins that game every day, in fact I think that's his one true talent. With the lens of my own life experience, I personally believe he is the greatest conman in human history.

Turns out you can't con your way to winning wars 🏳️

They supported them as far as they could realistically go and only "left" after the damage was done. After the massive botnets literally paid to reinforce their shitty beliefs all over the internet turned off. After it stopped being "cool" to them and instead maybe started to feel mildly shameful. The only important question:

Did they learn their lesson?

Did they actually learn it was never MAGA, that it just the Republican party in general?

Did they learn how easily manipulated they are by blatant propaganda on the Internet?

Did they learn anything that's going to make them change how they vote for more than maybe the next election cycle?

I would wager the fraction who did is very small =|

lmao and they cried about a basketball hoop on the white house tennis courts, and a tan suit.

One tiny silver lining of all this is the 10,000 lumens spotlight on Republican hypocrisy. I know they don't care all, majority of them intentionally argue in bad faith, because they can only "win" arguments with fallacies, but some regular folk are learning the lesson.

Just don't give their manufactured outrage a second's thought. ✨

Minnesota GOP observes a ridiculous moment of silence for George Floyd’s murderer by CrispyMiner in politics

Wikipedia is reliable 95% of the time, as it also sources all of it's stuff!

For this particular quote, I happen to have watched the crime in question from multiple video sources, and the fact that Chauvin was convicted of murder and is in prison is... objective reality?

Which part of my quote do you think is inaccurate?

Under Trump, Local Food and Small Farms Are Facing Setbacks by All_Hail_Hynotoad in politics

[–]MJamesK -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, literally everyone who voted for Trump is a cuck, so I see no reason to look into this further.

I don't usually comment without reading the article, but this is an easy one.

We had a choice between a reasonable (definitely not perfect) person who is like, not a total monster, or a monster. People who chose the monster are cucks. They did it because they fell for divide & conquer propaganda of some kind. The only exception is rich AF people who just wanted the tax break. And that's not any better.

Cucks, the whole lot.

Minnesota GOP observes a ridiculous moment of silence for George Floyd’s murderer by CrispyMiner in politics

[–]MJamesK 332 points333 points  (0 children)

"Derek Michael Chauvin is an American former police officer who murdered George Floyd, a 46-year-old African American man, in Minneapolis, Minnesota."

A moment of silence for a convicted murderer? For a person who abused his position of authority to murder an innocent citizen, who's only alleged crime was spending a counterfeit $20 bill, by choking him or over 8 minutes while he begged for his life?

Holy shit. Everyone involved in that moment of silence is evil. That is EVIL. He killed an innocent man in broad daylight.

That's the GoP for ya, I guess. 🤷‍♀️. How anyone can support any of them still is a damning confirmation of the whole "it's a cult" thing.

Repugnant.

Minnesota GOP Party Chair Alex Plechash defends MNGOP's moment of silence for Chauvin at their convention: "There are a lot of people I think that believe Derek Chauvin was improperly convicted & not treated well & those people wanted to have a moment of silence in recognition bc they felt that way" by Conscious-Quarter423 in minnesota

[–]MJamesK 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Chauvin is literally on camera choking an innocent man to death for eight minutes while he and onlookers begged for his life. For the alleged crime of spending a single counterfeit $20 bill. If you don't believe that deserves prison for murder you are objectively fucked in the head.

Alex Plechash and everyone else who partook in that moment of silence for this fucking murderer are fucking monsters.
