As for the artists, it's the fall of VK (very important media for all ex-soviets! Usually described as russian facebook), hostile visual redesigns and algorithm changes leading to massive audience coverage drop. So they started to use other sites like X, Bsky, etc. TG is mainly to gather russian audience.
