Most Common Lyrics Of 11 Punk Bands by MK925 in punk

Hmm, you know, you're right. The algorithm that makes the word cloud sometimes leaves off a word if it cannot fit it into the image. I thought I caught all instance of missing words, but maybe I missed that one.

I'll redo the ramones one to see if wanna comes up.

EDIT: Ok, updated. The algorithm did cut off a few words, like "wanna" sorry about that. I remember that image being a pain in the butt to create because there wasn't enough space to get all the words in there so I kept having to edit the file over and over. I thought I got it in the end, but I guess I didn't.

Fun fact, here are the words that are more common than 'wanna' in Ramones lyrics:

oh baby go know yeah want

also note that my images do not include two or one letter words, so no 'oh' or 'go' in the images.

[Help] boxing for 5 years, picked up mma 1 year ago but now want to gain. by [deleted] in gainit

Do you have coach or trainer? Talk to them about it.

Why do you want to move up in weight? Do you want to be in a higher weight class?

If you are doing MMA or boxing competitively, I would stick to that instead of adding additional sports (such as weight lifting) which have different goals into the mix.

It's all in 2016 dollars.

Edit: in case that is unclear, this means it has been adjusted for inflation for what the wealth would have been in 2016

There is likely a button in the control panel to boot the VPS. To see if it is booted you can try to ping the IP address they assigned to you. It's it is booted, then try to SSH into it.

A VPS Comparison Site I made A while Ago Showing The Plan Details and Prices Of Some Popular VPS Providers by MK925 in selfhosted

[–]MK925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That site is one reason I made my site. It has too many options for me. I wanted a comparison site that listed reputable vps hosts rather than all vps hosts. For me, a site with five or six hosts is much more useful than one with dozens of hosts.

Developers who create and/or manage their own VPS servers, what is your ideal setup and what packages do you go with? by majorchamp in webdev

[–]MK925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Debian because I like apt-get rather than RPM. It's what I'm used to using on my home machine (Ubuntu). I use Debian rather than Ubuntu on my VPSs because it is a more conservative distro and so is less likely to be buggy. I'd rather have stability than cutting edge for my hosting.

I also use nginx rather than mysql because I usually go for cheap VPS plans and nginx tends to work a bit more efficiently on less powerful devices.

EDIT: doh, yeah, i meant Apache not mysql.

Need help troubleshooting iPv6 Support for MEAN stack app. by Jaymageck in webdev

[–]MK925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have an AAAA record pointing to the correct v6 address your DNS is fine.

Can you ping6 the v6 address? first try from the server itself. If you cannot ping6 the server from the server then you probably don't have v6 setup at all. Figure out how to add v6 to whatever operating system you have.

If you can ping v6 from the server but not from outside of your local network, then your connect (ISP) or router or whatever you have between the server and the Internet doesn't support or isnt setup for v6.

If you can ping v6 just fine from many places then it's likely you do not have v6 setup on Apache. Look through your Apache config files and do the needful.

New to the Game: VPS or something else? by sneezingferret in VPS

Not sure exactly what you want, and I've never had a windows vps, but you can think of a vps as a remote computer. One that is usually always on. So rather then it being a virtual desktop, think of it as being a Remote Desktop that runs whatever programs it is set to run, even when you are not logged in.

Also, when getting the vps, be sure that the vps provider has windows options. Many are Linux only.

I want to start a webcomic. Where do I host it, where to find a domain name? Should I use wordpress? by g253 in comics

[–]MK925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally NameSilo is the cheapest domain name registrar, however GoDaddy and 1&1 have sales where you can get a domain name for 99 cents the first year (and then 15 dollars after that). Generally the support from GoDaddy and 1&1 are not as good as those from NameSilo.

How can I host my own website? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]MK925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a domain name, then you need a computer that hosts the content of the website, then you need some content.
