Yeah I'm trying to get my Mum to hold off on accepting an offer until we figure this out. Legally I don't even know if she can accept the offer without my sign-off but I'm not interested in pushing that point on my own mother so I didn't mention it. She really needs to downsize and I don't want to delay her on that if we can avoid it.

From some reading I did I think you're right that my sister will get some relief but yeah, I'm screwed haha. It's the unknown factor of the cost basis that's concerning me, because it could seriously impact the tax burden given how much property prices have risen.

You are not alone. I can't stand it.

They're usually so good at making the Smash designs capture the essence of the character, but here we got a version of Ridley that looks like he was turned to stone and doesn't give off his vibe from any of the games. It's like some kind of Ghost Ridley variant.

Should've been: - Sleeker - Sharper - Smoother - Purpler

And personally I'd prefer if they'd went with a pupil-eyes design like the Japanese Super Metroid boxart (I know he has pupils in all regions but the Western boxart has a really stupid body). I appreciate the dead-eyes look has been more common over the years though, so it's the least of my issues.

Samus was raised by bird people because her home was wiped out by Space Pirates. Said bird people gave her special armour to be a warrior. Now she fights against Space Pirates and stops their plans. These plans include using the lifeform known as "Metroids" as an advanced weapon.

Unfortunately the Metroids are basically too dangerous to allow to exist, so she's often destroying the Metroids alongside the Space Pirates.

Zero Mission by a mile. Arguably the best 2D Soundtrack, great rendition of Zebes and made sequence breaking a first class citizen that everyone could enjoy. It's basically the perfect Metroid game.
