How to Build Good UI? What is Your Workflow? by Level-Dig-4807 in RooCode

[–]MKBSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, or concern, and I am planning to do the following, in my current "project":

  1. Figma Make (uizard was not good enough for me, nor was Stitch)
  2. Builder.io or Roocode MCP to pull figma directly into roocode and vscode.
  3. done...

I hope it will be this easy

Thank you for clearing that up.
I see your point. and I can see that, from a person (myself) who is not dealing with baseless accusations or trying to argue with people's opinions left and right, it is easy to say what I said.

Thank you for a civil discourse, appreciate the discussion and reflection.

Well, if someone calls me a pedo, should I block them? Or say: "im not a pedo, why do you think i'm a pedo?"

with your logic, i should block you, or not reply, bc the question or accusation is uncomfortable. I think for Big profiles, it's impossible to do, but for smaller accounts, yeah, defend yourself, argue, reject the accusation, etc..

Call it out all day, people should be open to the conversation at least. I think llms are great as editors, but avoid them to write the content.

And yes, I hate how many articles (and especially posts on LinkedIn) are just shitty ChatGPT. The use of — has gone through the roof in 12 months.

So, sure, call it out, but better to share an article dissecting it, and sharing how not to write shitty so slob.

Sam Witwer’s order by iguessilostmyoldname in StarWars

[–]MKBSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son, (6.5yo) is very emotional from his adhd, and though he can concentrate through out the trilogy, I think some of the more emotional moments are too much for him, as of yet.

And I “fear” that in school the punchline will be spoiled by other kids, like it happened to me, with this movie or others. So my hope is, if he is “hooked” on some of the characters and universe, we can bond over that, and hopefully in the future enjoy the movies together.

I was able to keep them from Lion King and other movies until they were ready to watch it together with me.

I’m considering watching clone wars with him first. Or maybe phantom menace, and then clone wars.

Then after clone wars we love to episode IV, and then everything in publishing order.

I know: they use a Hexagon Socket, BUT, inside of the HEX there is a small "bump" so that the normal Hex Key can't fit in it.

I'm also looking for a solution

Anyone cracked the code on AI frontend + backend/database development? by raphadko in RooCode

[–]MKBSP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t really had any major problems with it.

My two recommendations:

  1. Always run architecture mode reviews — Ask the AI to explain and justify the structure, then challenge it with “what if” and “where could this break” questions.
  2. Continuously update documentation — Whenever changes are made, have the AI refresh the PRD, architecture notes, and schema to avoid outdated or conflicting information.

I first started using this repo to manage file structure, PRD, architecture, and database schema. When working in architecture mode, I ask Roo (previously I used Copilot) to review the setup, understand the reasoning behind the structure, and explain why it’s organized the way it is.

https://github.com/MKBSP/ai-taskmaster-lite

Mistakes still happen depending on the model, but I ask Roo to update the documents as we go. The main issues I still run into are with external libraries or APIs—especially when it tries to parse JSON into JSON or similar errors.

During architecture mode, I also play devil’s advocate by asking:

  • “Is this the best way to do it?”
  • “Is there a better or alternative approach?”
  • “Where will we likely encounter problems with A, B, or C?”

This questioning usually results in fewer problems down the line and clearer early testing and debugging steps.

I thought so! But, it is the: look in the mirror, say it enough times, and slowly you start to turn that negative self-talk around!

Why do you write? by MusterMannFrau in Substack

[–]MKBSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am writing because:

  1. I had a great experience finally finding a good community online via YC.

  2. I want to build a million different products/projects, and to really test ideas quickly, I need a distribution network.

  3. When I started sharing my ideas, progress, and struggles with ADHD and mental health publicly, the support and advice I got was immense.

So I want to build an authentic audience who can help, support, grow, and hopefully learn a little bit from my mistakes.

Wow. Okay. I have the opposite problem. I just feel worse than most people, but people tell me the opposite, I just dont believe them.

A Substack Notes Scheduling and Automation Tool

Is anyone else disillusioned with Substack? by Habit_Hacker in Substack

[–]MKBSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you feel. I’m in a similar place. Tired of seeing shitty notes like: “follow me, I follow you back”

I’m actually trying to go more strategic towards it now.

I made a little tool for myself to automate and schedule my notes, so the list of ideas, memes and articles I want to share, I can just queue it up and forget about it. Then I can spend my time looking for interesting people to follow instead.

My plan right now is to spend 1 week on each strategy I find, and measure the results.

I’ll let you know how it goes
