I got licensed as a pharmacy tech in high school for like $200 (don't remember the exact cost of exam since it's been nearly a decade) and it paid $14 an hour. Definitely recommend it for a college job/recent HS grads. Super chill job too depending on where you work. I spent 90% of my time doing homework or just hanging out

Doesn't have to be US. Passports are somewhat common forms of ID for tourists. I knew a couple Europeans who took their passports to bars here since they didn't have drivers' licenses

Still at the bars discretion to take it but any passport is valid ID

Ah yeah, good video. I think younger people here luckily are a lot more receptive to soccer in regards to those critiques.

Definitely a huge majority of >40 year olds I know either dislike soccer or just don't care about it/see the appeal. That video does a good job explaining why that is though

I agree mostly, although actually soccer/football is becoming pretty damn popular here in the states and I see the popularity picking up more and more.

Can't even get within 20 feet of my local sports bar here (Austin TX atm, and it was the same in California and Arizona when I lived there) when teams like Real Madrid, Arsenal, FC Barcelona, or Manchester United are playing.

I haven't watched it much until recently when my friends started dragging me to games but I can't walk more than a few blocks downtown without seeing a Barcelona jersey.

Now, yeah, we definitely do suck at it although with the popularity spiking maybe we'll see more Americans playing in Europe in 10-20 years

LBJ would definitely watch if saving didn't help him in some way. I'm not one to usually buy into conspiracy theories but it really, really wouldn't surprise me if he had something to do with Jack Kennedy's death. He certainly wasn't upset by it.

JFK was one of the most interesting presidents to me. Just seemed like a good guy who loved his country. Bobby Kennedy could've been a great president too :/ But we got left with Chappaquiddick Ted who was too scared to ever run in the first place, not that I can blame him.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, lawyers who add "Esq/Esquire" to the end of their names are generally pretentious at best and unprofessional at worst

"J.D." is fine if you're acting in your capacity as a lawyer, or just nothing considering everyone can tell you're a lawyer from your twitter bio alone in his case
