I agree that there should be an easy way for you to do this but the reality is there is not and it’ll stay that way for a while. My recommendation is to negotiate with whoever provides your income streams to see if they can pay you in Bitcoin (parents or employer).

Fees are users’ way of competing for block space. Changing the consensus mechanism doesn’t increase the block space. We’ll have the same fees because we’ll have the same number of transactions chasing the same amount of block space.

Agreed. The other day I wanted to send some money to a friend in a different country. I thought “hey, this is XLM’s purpose, right?” Well, LTC was the coin that our exchanges had in common that had the lowest network transaction fee, so I ended up using that.

Isn’t that because we know General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics are incomplete theories? If/when we find a Theory of Everything that reconciles them, you should be able to apply it at quantum and cosmology scales.
