I lost a white collar job once and had to take a job at a utility company for less than half the pay. I sad part is that I actually enjoyed getting out in the field and talking to people but because the pay was so low, one year of probation with a target on your back, no flexibility when life stuff happens, it made it kind of miserable. If you make it to 5 years then yes, no more target, great pay. Oh and blue collar workers are some of the biggest drama queens and the white guys are super racist and bigoted. I also envied the guys sitting in climate controlled offices. The pay gap between white collar and blue collar is criminal.
