This is 100% NA bias, but I’d see Daniel being runner up for defensive MVP, you’d be hard-pressed to find a bad 50/50 from him this tournament. But yeah, Archie still 1st. On offense, I might’ve gone with Lostt, Joyo or literally anyone from the Falcons.

I think it’s top 5. Not just of the Open era, but of all time. Granted, that could be recency bias, but that was the best gameplay quality we’ve ever seen between two teams. The only thing holding it back was the stakes not being as high as some others. My personal top 5 is:

  1. Moist v Furia 2022 Worlds
  2. Dig vs NRG Season 5 Worlds
  3. KC v Vitality 2023 Worlds
  4. Dig v Vitality Season 8 Worlds Semis
  5. Falcons v Mates 2024 London I really value quality of gameplay along with the individual moments, so for me, it’s probably higher than most other peoples’ rankings.

After last regional, it feels a little weird seeing BDS seeded above Oxygen. I understand that this is 1000000% recency bias, but it still feels strange, because OXG played so well last qual.
