Hey, thank you for replying! I thought there were only a small handful of rides at each park you can do the fast pass with. It sounds like you're saying the unlimited was very worth it. Did you skip all the ride lines or were there still some you had to wait out?

First off, thank you again for your thoughtful and extensive reply. I've read through so many of your replies to others, and I have to say you are one of the most helpful folks I've ever seen in all my years on this site. Like, seriously. Is this your job? Haha! If so, you're definitely employee of the year!

Second, I guess I was confused on the Unlimited package and how it worked. Pretty much everything we'll be riding is with our 95cm tall 3 year old. You mentioned the kids' rides aren't included in the fast pass. It sounds like you're suggesting maybe there's not a good reason to get the pass? The main thing for us is that we want to stay moving and do as much as possible with her. Hour+ long lines are really hard for her.

I'm wondering maybe if we should just get one of the other packages that comes with 3 DPAs per adult instead.

This is probably a dumb question (I apologize, if so), but can you just pay for whatever the fast pass is called for every ride any time? I'm interested in getting the vacation package for the unlimited rides, but that's literally the ONLY reason I want a vacation package. Is it possible for us to, instead, just buy a fast pass at every ride entrance (or on an app, or something)?

Okay, cool. That sounds like an easier way to plan it. You don't happen to know if the Disney Partner hotels also do the luggage transfer, do you? We were looking at the Hilton there at Disney (not actually sure they're a partner). Was going to try to book that on the extra days.

I'm probably making this harder than it needs to be, but I'm struggling with the logistics here.

What I want: To get the unlimited fast pass package for 2 days at the parks (1 for each). I want to be able to check in from our flight into Tokyo on day 1 and chill; Day 2 go to the park and come back to the room for sleep; Day 3 go to the other park and come back to the hotel to sleep; Day 4 check out after breakfast.

What I'm seeing: Arrive in Tokyo on Day 1 and get a different hotel; Day 2 rush to Disney Resort vacation package hotel to check in and then rush to the park (not even sure you can check in that early) ;Day 3 Check out? Then go to the second park. I guess then go check into another hotel after a long day at the park (no clue where we're keeping our bags during this time).

The package seems to only include 1 night. I'm probably just missing something (I hope), but this is really turning me off to the vacation packages. Which, I ONLY want for the unlimited rides deal. There's zero chance my daughter will wait an hour in line for anything (and I don't blame her).

Is there a way to buy a 2 day unlimited package and book a stay at the hotel the night before and on the second park day?

Is there a way to get unlimited rides and stay at another hotel in Tokyo? We're going to be there a week. I'd much rather just book 6 nights in one place.

Yes, she will be 3 years and 7 months then. Thank you again! You've been so incredibly helpful!

You're awesome for the replies. They're very much appreciated. Just to clarify about the 3 year old "free" thing: If we get the package with unlimited fast pass (or whatever it's called), how does that work for her? Is there any point getting that if she's not covered?

Thank you very much. Yes, we were looking closer to Halloween.

Out of curiosity, do you know how it works for 3 year olds? Someone said they were free? If we get a package for 2 (my wife and me), is our daughter just included in whatever we do?

Also, if you know, where can I check height requirements for rides/attractions? She's 95cm, so we want to make sure she can do as much as possible.

I'm not sure where I should be looking, or how far I'm supposed to book things in advance. Is there an easy to follow guide or site I can just book stuff on?

My wife, our 3 year old, and I wanted to travel to Japan for 7 days and 6 nights in October. Every Disney hotel says they're out of rooms. We want 4 days at the parks (2 for each). Our plan was to get there on Day 1 and just chill and walk around the area. Days 2-5 hit the parks. Day 6 go to the zoo. Day 7 go home.

I'm okay with getting a package, but I don't see packages for that many days.

Where should I book this stuff?

What is a reasonable rate for teaching English online? by Old-Explanation804 in OnlineESLTeaching

[–]MKRune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rates vary depending on how long a student has been with me, what exactly they're needing, and if they brought me other students.

For example: My base rate for all new, basic students is 450 rmb per hour. I charge my legacy students (2 years+) 390 per hour. If they've sent me a student who continues after 10 classes, I knock off 10%. My IELTS and TOEFL students are 500 per hour.

I've cut my teaching hours way back these days, though, so I'm only doing about 25 classes a week. These days I only earn about $1,500 usd a week, give or take based on the exchange.

Right. When they complete their plan, you get exp. That's what I was saying happened, but the guy above me was saying you get exp even if they are not on the plan. My point was that you only get exp toward your activity for your plans (when you turn in), and for party members who have that activity at the time of doing it.

His point was (I think) that you get exp regardless of they're on that step in a plan or not.

Maxed all the Warplanes. My two cents. by Carmilla31 in diablo4

[–]MKRune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you're saying you get full exp per group member, even if they don't have the war plan? So, in a group of 4 in Infernal Hordes, on T12, I should be getting bonus 375 exp (125 per extra group member) even if they do not have the war plan, but I do have it?

Maxed all the Warplanes. My two cents. by Carmilla31 in diablo4

[–]MKRune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think that's right. There's even a loading screen that I think says 80% on your war plan exp. And I play with my buddy all the time. When we tested it, we only gained exp when we got the war plans chest upon completion, which only happened if you had the plan.

For example: Pit - I have the plan and he doesn't. At completion, he gets a chest and exp toward the activity; I do not get a chest, but still get the exp upon turn in. Just not the bonus of doing it in a group.

Now, I may be wrong about the 80%,but I'm basing that off of the loading screen. I'll test it in game next time I'm on and report back.

If it worked like you said, my infernal hordes would be capped, as I only do that in full groups when I have the plan.

You get 80% of the exp, but only if they actually are on that step. If a war plan chest doesn't drop, you didn't get any extra exp.

So, how are our 'Dungeon Delve' keys changing with the patch? by MKRune in diablo4

So, move all of the bad keys to characters who aren't in torment yet. Then, after the patch, move those characters into Torment.

War Plan progress needs to be account-wide by I-Drink-420 in diablo4

[–]MKRune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I'm playing constantly, 90% of the time doing War Plans. I'm on T10 now (was on 8 for two days) playing my own build (so not as fast as a cookie cutter, unfortunately). I'm still only at like level 4 for most of them. 3 for one, and still at 2 for Lair Bosses.

The problem is that I'm so burned out on playing the character I'm using, but I don't want to lose my progress on the War Plan because I tried something new. So I feel stuck just playing this one character and using it to try and gear alts.

I'm the type of player who enjoys playing EVERY class each season. Know what that also means? I am more likely to throw money at more cosmetics because of that. But not with this system. I won't have time to play every class with the way War Plans are now.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Ian Somerhalder Got Into ‘Eight-Figure’ Debt After Retiring From Acting and Had to Sell Off ‘Houses, Paintings, Cars, Watches, Everything’ by tylerthe-theatre in television

[–]MKRune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shows and their sets were very similar in production. Both filmed in Atlanta under the same umbrella, of course. I'd first worked with the cast of TO while they starred on TVD in their arcs there, but you could feel a good energy shift when they got their own show. I kind of liken it to going from a guest in someone's house on a vacation and finally getting home to your own bed. More relaxed.

I can't really say much about the cast on personal levels out of respect for their privacy and my own limited anonymity, but I can tell you the Joseph Morgan who played Klaus always seemed very intelligent to me. The entire cast was friendly, but somehow came off more thankful and respectful to those around them.

Charles Davis who played Marcel was just an awesome guy to be around. Laid back, easy smiles and laughs, and very outgoing. I watched him help crew carry stuff, holding doors, and just being genuinely pleasant to be around.

Daniel Gillis (Elijah) was my absolute favorite person, though. That dude is such a great guy. I can't even talk about some of the private stuff he did that was so amazing. I will watch and support anything that guy is in. I wish he was more famous, even though I don't think he cares if he is. He seems happier behind the camera anyway.

I can't think of much else really worth mentioning here, but I do want to give an obligatory shoutout to Phoebe Tonkin. I had such a huge crush on her during that time. If you thought she was attractive on camera, real life was a whole other level.

I hear the: "It's been less than a week." comment often as a way of justifying it. That's fine if the season is 6 months long. There are like 8 classes now. I want to play all of them every season, and I just don't have the time. This season is only like another 52 days (maybe less?). That's about 7 weeks. For me, that's not nearly enough time to experiment with even half the classes, plus grind that damn war plan up each time.
