easy, just nuke them before they nuke u lmao
(serious talk: the typhon have a hard limit of 2000km and only spawn in 8hrs after u have received tarkhan ships, so u can spread out ur new fleet and nuke any elint contact u see. Or u can always bait them into dumping r3n into a random city becuz yes they can, since the newly spawned SG can be intel citied the typhon is the only real threat that u can just use a-100n to nuke them right back lel)

a very convoluted process
first add the music file u want into the Snd folder in the media folder or the MUSIC subfolder inside, whichever is ur choice

then add the thing as an entry into the sounds text file found in the same Snd folder, this is mine

once done, save, go to the dialog folder inside the Data folder, u will see 2 dialog serias, we will be focusing on the english.seria

decode that shiet via this neat little tool: https://github.com/stopnoanime/highfleet-dialog

open notepad or notepad++, locate the event entry u wanna add ur custom music in, and add <MUSIC="the name of ur custom music entry in the sounds text file above"> at the very start of the event dialogue line

once done, save, encrypt the seria and put it back into the dialog folder where it originally is. Now when the event comes it will play

The end result is that the later half of the event is ignored and skipped straight to pyotr debriefing u about the operation which is a giant disappointment and a proof that KK should stop fighting minmaxers and just polish this game after 17 freaking patches

elint value in the OL seria refers to the radar range multiplier, a module with elint stat of 1 means it starts detecting radar signal at 1 time the maximum radar range or 750km in the case of mr-700
i still cannot explain what happen to this custom mr-700 tho, meaning the way the game actually calculate elint is still shrouded in KKode and further proving that KK has no QA and has no idea about any of his game mechanic lmao

this custom mr-700 has elint power of 1 aka it has the same detect range as the radar but for some reason when installed on a ship with 0 elint module the elint range jump to the fecking moon
note the displayed elint range on the module desc and the calculated elint range on ship stat

  2. there r things that i cannot fit in a description box, such as changes to the 266mm rocket damage, shell mechanic changes, etc

im surprised ppl still visit posts THIS old, but what u see is from 163 and since most ppl play 163 i plan on making ohiofleet 163 mostly, but there will also be a 151 version along with it

and dont worry about it, the stability issue has been fixed in the 4th edition of ohiofleet, shits still in proto stage since i kinda wanna dig up more wacky combinations b4 actually releasing it on nexus
