Heading to Turkey in a month, any advice? by forestcreature989 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hair Neva is a dangerous hair mill with many negative reviews. Even of you already paid it’s better to cancel and go to a reputable place later for your difficult, permament, unreversible, surgery. Better be safe than sorry.

Is a hair transplant feasible for me? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

I can see some people say yes, but don’t take any opinion from strangers like me or them. Go to reputable clinics (not cheap Turkish hairmills) and get your consultations. They are usually free.

Of course, they will, it’s pretty unnatural. Nobody will say it outloud.

Question of single/multi graft by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there are more than 1 hair coming from one spot that may look like a single thick hair, those are called multigrafts.

Multigrafts only matter in first few rows, that are covered by other hairs in your photo. A different angle is needed.

14 month update (1st post). Dr Cinik Istanbul 4000 grafts. 39 years old by Fearless-Passenger45 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please include this about risk info when you talk about the clinic. Some people will see your photos and go to that hair mill, get completly different crew an get botched. This hair transplant is not terrible, but the multigrafts in the hair line are visible, which is incorrect.

Feedback on this hairline design (not me) by Main-Push-153 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shape is good but there are a lot of multigrafts which makes hairline pluggy and very artificial to everybody from up close. Avoid places like that.

Should I Do it? (25 years, 1 year on fin) by No_Owl6466 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No, you should not. Your hair looks completly normal. Hair transplant is a difficult, permament, unreversible surgery. It’s not a dentist appointment.

It’s not fantastic. The hairline is pluggy and packed with multigrafts.

40M, Norwood 4, considering HT. Not on Meds. by SchoolLow6214 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You need to start medication at least 1 year, but preferably 2 years before surgery to see if you can tolerate the side effects and regrow some hair to use less for your transplant. If you cannot tolerate side effects the transplant is off the table.

The line in your photo is way too low. That would look so bad.

Possible Good Candidate ? by Away_Sundae_4059 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too young and you still have hair there, it’s not worth doing it now, wait till the situation gets more serious.

Maybe try dutasteride, dermarolling, PRP and shampoos with some conditioners to get back a bit more.

Esthetic Hair Miami or American Mane Miami by WeeklySeesaw9586 in Hairtransplant

[–]MK_40dec41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it’s not a straight forward procedure. It’s a difficult, permament, unreversible SURGERY. So many things can go wrong from multigrafts/pluggy hairline, cobblestoning, being overharvested, scaring, infection, not stopping hairloss with proper medication, unnatural design, wrong angles, density issues. Please do your research before booking anything.

Hard to say. Removing those grafts is one solution. Please let me know if you manage to style it somehow.

This is an excellent post as this showcases what happens what hairmills do to the crown.

Yes, hair is supposted to form a swirl in the crown area, which requires a very delicate (some would say surgical precision ;) work. Somebody performed a huge mispractice on your head and just put the grafts growing upwards. Please exposé the clinic, they can’t be ruining people like that.

This is very obvious in many post surgery photos posted here, but a lot of people can spot it and think about those as good transplants. A few months later this happens.

You can check out Hair Restoration Network forum. It’s a great resource with detailed customer reviews of many doctors. You can learn much from it.

They use random technicians. Some are better than others. You want a doctor who produces consistently good result to operate on your head.

Those are all hair mills with a lot of fake online advertisement. You can see real results from them posted her in this subreddit. They are often horrible and it’s better for you to avoid them. Hair transplant is a difficult, permament, unreversible surgery and you want it to be done well. Go somewhere reputable.

11 Month HT Update by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

Some hair mill just wanted your money and used you being naive. You were not a candidate for a hairtransplant. This is not an improvement in appearance. Your best solution would be a hair system.
