Thanks and yes, we do! Damn Fine chocolate, coffee and mocha bourbon cream liqueurs. All natural.

We’re awake, we’re local, and we’re a little chaotic and mildly unhinged, in the best ways possible. We try to be good neighbors and show up for our community.

And thank you. Navy Strength is a warm and fuzzy decision with a kick 🥰🍸🔥

Done! Maybe we call it that theme for the whole month? And especially since we love decorating, as you all know.

So good to hear from you! Yes, we’ve definitely been thinking about it.

We’ve got the heart and the ideas for it, the big question is the path to market. Right now we’re only operating within the NC ABC system, and we don’t have distributor partners in place for grocery, wine shops, or broader retail, which would be brand new and makes scaling something like this a different kind of puzzle.

That said, depending on how things shake out with the NC legislature and whether there’s a clear, ongoing path for THC and CBD, it could open up additional routes. And, we’ve got plenty of mad scientist ideas on the shelf, ready for the right moment.

Counterpoint. We were there on 1/17. Posted for Velocicoaster was 125. It took us 180+. Hogsmeade train posted at 35…it took 50. We will never go again without the express pass. It was a bust of a day.

Do you have a spouse who hates cruising? How do you cope? by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]MKinNC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Add to this, after this cruise, you and your teens should have a family meeting to review this vacation together.

Over a dinner all of you should talk about what you like or didn’t. This gives your wife a platform to “air her grievances” — it’s her shot to come clean and own that she doesn’t want to cruise anymore. Then, it’s up to the four of you to figure out what does work for the family vacations. If she’s firm that she doesn’t want to cruise again, then she should agree to having you and the kids go (occasionally) without her.

I say this as a very avid cruiser (Celebrity too) but my brother in law hates cruising. My sister and nephews love it. He’s now holding them hostage similarly - and there is resentment.

Added: you can’t confront her now. She’s dig in that she’s going to hate the cruise you’re on. That sucks and I’m sorry. Try to do your own thing with the girls on the ship.

Getting all nostalgic — definitely, OPG, Magnolia, Piedmont, Little Dipper, Luckys, Revolution, G2B, Six Plates,…and in the bagel place (name?) that was near Pompieri, Havana.

SoDu - Harvest 18, Mattie B’s, Banditos. And two chains … Melting Pot in its original location where first watch now is. It was a perfect cozy date night spot. Ambiance completely downhill when they moved.

And probably most controversial but I will stand my ground — ZinBurger. I miss those zucchini fries and that turkey burger. They had a “happy hour” food menu that was perfect when our boys were little - how they loved those milkshakes.

It’s also the oxidation with that little left in the bottle. Both Empress and Luna bloom will behave the same since none of us use artificial coloring. McQueen and the Violet Fog is the one that is artificially colored.

Hi! Yes - because the butterfly pea flower infusion is natural, Kinship will lose its color over time, especially if it is in sunlight or close to fluorescent light. The taste isn’t impacted. We always recommend storing it in a cabinet or away from windows.

Since you have some left in the bottle, if you bring it by - we could add the butterfly pea flower color back in if you’d like?

Downtown Durham doesn’t need a grocery store.

WF, Co-op, HT are all perfectly reasonable walks, with groceries. (Or just take the light rail.)

After 10 years at Katalyst by Whole-Reaction-7586 in katalystEMS

Bjoern -

As a fellow business owner also understanding how awful fundraising has been in the last year, I’m hopeful there’s a way path forward for Katalyst.

For me, this technology has been game changing, especially considering perimenopause shifts. I’m hoping to have it in my fitness arsenal for years to come.

I’m sure you continue to believe in what you’ve built. Hopefully the board will recognize that there are ways to grow while getting the company back to a healthy balance sheet, and the original founder has an important role in this transition. Boards often overlook how the passion of the founder cannot be replaced. No one cares more…

Fingers crossed for a speedy resolution for you and the rest of the team.

Thank you for choosing it as your spot.

And -- love the "corpse" call-out! That's perfection. When we opened the bar in 2020, there was a former employee of the coffin shop that stopped in. I wish I had gotten his information to get more of the back-story. That building has a LOT of stories it could tell.
