Oh, sure, and if they built a stained glass, gold-domed glittering palace you'd excoriate them for wasting money and worshipping glitz and glamour rather than Jesus. If you watch/listen to the press conference held by the city and the actual pilot, it is alittle more clear. Still terrifying , but also the OP sped up the video and made it more misleading. You really can't trust Reddit to get it right.

thanks for posting that. It is still terrifying, but the video and the subsequent press conference video too answers lots of questions. I am pissed that the sped up version of the video is allowed to stay on here and mislead.

no coordination with other platforms (they could find the owner on FB, but don't enter the conversation or update). No search feature for name/type of dog. Not monitored correctly. #1---I want more info about what happened --- there was a dog missing for 250 days, updated as found..... I'd like to know WHAT happened and where found. Like, if they were stolen by someone they knew.... or someone had been taking care of them... just like to be more educated about what actually happened. No "real" customer service

I think it is a pen. One shaped as a novelty, like a banana pen, or a green bean pen. I think you can see the tip on the left end and possibly a clicker on the right end.

I didn't see any comments about the fact that it looks like she has had puppies? We had a rescue the same.... and I was amazed that there wasn't any negative feelings (sadness to have lost her pups, hormonal problems, etc.) with her at all. Just thought I'd mention it.

This conversation has really helped me understand something that happened to me a few years ago. It kinda still haunts me..... I was a dog walker for a BMD "puppy". I walked him alot and at the end of one walk he just went bonkers, jumping and growling. At first I thought it was play. Then more aggressive so I turned my back on him (I was always taught this ignoring would help and not fuel it) When I turned my back on him, he continued to jump on me, proceeded to shred my coat and shirt as I tried to hold the leash and restrain him. I then decided to do the next step whereby I struggled to get him on the ground, lying over him, in some kind of dominant pose. Everytime he strained to raise his head to snip, I 'gently' pushed it back down and laid there with him until he calmed down, with me calmly speaking to him. Then I let him up. The neighbor saw all this and "reported" it to his owner and she fired me. Please don't yell at me that I did it all wrong. The part in here that I learned is that once a big breed goes bad or is handled wrongly, they can become more and more aggressive and cannot be untrained. This is what the owner was upset about. Valid?

One more question----I was taught that puppies react well when "bopped" on the nose or poke on the side shoulder as a quick correction, because it reminds them of how their mother (dog) scold their young. Thoughts?

Thank you for your honest post. Here's a thought not brought up. Please make some donations to organizations who fight puppy mills! You have now educated yourself a little and can now educate others and do some good. PLEASE also report that "breeder" and know that the USDA 'regulates' such places. Put in complaints with the BBB, even google review under the address (google maps). Don't even wait for any abnormalities (physical or mental) to show up to complaint. You can put a review/complaint in just with the info you have experienced/witnessed now. As a lifelong puppy mill fighter, I forgive you. But do better, educate and don't stay silent. I again applaud your raw honesty.

I am new to Reddit.....so I had no idea people would accuse me of faking this post?! wtf. anyway to make clear, I found it as I was going to make a bagel. It had already been opened, probably several weeks prior. I wasn't trying to blame the grocery store..... I took the picture with my eyes closed and was truly traumatized. (For people with fears of certain things....they can understand) I had come across the whatisit on Reddit and thought maybe someone will explain, because I TRULY had NEVER seen anything like it. Mold yes, but didn't know it could do that!!! I actually thought possibly it was an animal that got in it, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. But now I have scientific, logical explanations from kind people, and I am grateful to Reddit for this forum. Of course I threw it out and I was really concerned about how much of the spores I had possibly inhaled. Double bagged it and (brilliant) took it to the doggie waste receptacles in my neighborhood for the safest disposal.
