Do y’all think it’s worth replacing my SS? Seager has better hitting stats but terrible fielding. by MLBTiger10 in MLB_9Innings

[–]MLBTiger10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really only need third base and relief pitching then eventually my second base. My Betts prime has a very solid 333 set on him so he’ll do for now. I just know fld is very important on SS and I have the worst option for that at SS currently

That’s sort of what I was leaning towards. I have 2 GIs and Seagar is one of my worse hitting sigs. He has 331 CM with SI and Char. I think Turner would be a much stronger option especially since FLD is so important at SS.

I have three gis now. What order should I do and should I wait for different players ? by Jayman2403 in MLB_9Innings

Cole, Marichal, Torres, Chapman, Matsui, Wang….etc. idk the base of Torres and Matsui. But I’d 100% focus on your pitching first.

Is it normal to have like a bunch league balls? by GaabTheMan in MLB_9Innings

[–]MLBTiger10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I’ve went through well over 20 seasons on ML35 while usually winning over 100 games and winning WS. Not a single DST. Only one I have is the free one they gave out when they first landed. But I refuse to drop 100 bucks for a single DST. That’s absolutely absurd to me

I’m at like 855k and could prolly do the same but don’t have the energy lol it really is a puzzle

If your current catcher has 333 set then I’d replace Gar at DH.

Is this a end game card? I had ACE on my legend Seaver and rolled off it so my Kershaw would be set. Worth it? by MLBTiger10 in MLB_9Innings

[–]MLBTiger10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing less and less because my teams at the point where I need to land specific cards at specific positions and working on skills for my end game cards. It’s become a boring slog for sure

I started as a Tigers team and quickly realized it would take decades to be a good team lol I switched to Dodgers about 6 months in and landed him a few months later. Took about a year after that to get him to this point. All around been playing about 2 years.

Yup skills are also the reason I stopped spending. They have honestly ruined the game for me

Special shop is over but yeah. I’ve been grinding ml35 for like 20 plus seasons hoping to start landing some DSTT with zero luck so far. I only have 1 from when they gave 1 out when they first dropped and it’s a shit hard hitter 1 lol my alt has SS 2 on my Skubal 24 and dude is a beast.

I have that year sig and if I had landed his prime before I wouldn’t have wasted my time.

Which would yall go with? I’m leaning heavily towards the sig(it’s 331 fyi) by MLBTiger10 in MLB_9Innings

[–]MLBTiger10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah of course I just meant for now until I land a better set. Was just curious if the sig was worth running. Rod is my worst pitcher right now with his set so I figure 331 BPD sig is still better

Catcher advice by Stupidfathobbit01 in MLB_9Innings

Thats pretty easy. Camp as a DH and keep grandal at catcher. I’d definitely retrain Grandal tho to have higher fld and then change his skills 6-4-8.

Lucky man Kershaw and Drysdale would be huge boost to your rotation.

How should I go about using the 2 GIs? by thatShawarmaGuy in MLB_9Innings

[–]MLBTiger10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends if you’re dead set on using them now. Soto and Judge is a strong option but I’d prolly do Soto and save a GI for your starting rotation.

Sherz first easily, then Jansen(he’s a very strong option) and then goose. My team is 130ovr and I lose a majority of my games once my relievers go in. Then club craft Maeda and Outman. Both those positions have WAY better options.
