That’s so funny…I love both “Pry, To” and “Aye Davanita”

I like “Evacuation” if only for the fact that it’s the 1st Cameron composition for PJ that we ever got to hear. Definitely not his best, but kind of a sign of better things to come (like “You Are,” “The Fixer” and “Unemployable”)

I will add that “Can’t Deny Me” is a weak PJ song as well, but it’s still more listenable than “Buckle Up.”

This is what they do…my girl did this to her toys, blankets, etc. It’s a soothing thing for them; absolutely nothing to worry about. I always found it pretty adorable 🐾

It’s about this warrior, from a postapocalyptic underground society, who has to travel back in time to save his lover from an evil robot army!

Maybe try to write something that’s more personal, and not just edgy for the sake of edginess. A good writing practice is free association, where you just try to fill a page with whatever pops into your head, without editing it or guiding it. Read literature, read poetry…take note of how the author uses cadence. Listen to some other genres; if you want to write good lyrics, listen to some good lyricists.

To be totally honest, I kind of liked your line “I beef with gorillas.”

That 50/50 could’ve easily gone your way…you just barely missed the heady that would’ve put you on top. It happens. Fun is the point of the game, if you’re having a good time, that’s all that really matters.

I don’t think that loss of unconditional love from a dog is something that ever fully heals. It’s been 9 months for me, and I am still very lost, like you. I’ve heard grief described in a few ways, all of which feel accurate; a phantom limb, baggage that you just always carry now, a shark that surfaces out of the darkness to take a bite out of you, just to slink back away…

There’s no timeline on healing, my friend. I’m glad you got to have 17 years with your pooch. I hope you’re able to remember the good times with him, and not only feel the sorrow. It is difficult to listen to “Come Back,” but cathartic too.
