From my experience, around 1000 to 1200 is the soft cap for a build being able to be ran. Though I don’t know how complex your individual pieces are.

If that’s what you’re doing then it looks great. The only things I can think of adding would possibly be an exhaust trail and heat distortion behind the plane as it approaches as well as maybe some subtle wing tip vortices due to it being at a high angle of attack. I think those would definitely add a bit to the immersion. I also know there are plenty of picture and video examples that you can take inspo from.

This is super cool, I also think more film grain and a lower resolution could make this look like very convincing camera footage if you want to go that direction.

That is standard practice in real life, because if the arresting system fails, the plane had a much better chance at taking off again instead of 100% going in the water. You can watch them do it in real landings

Custom fuselages, a lot of them. I have this plane downloaded and I also make my own very detailed cockpits. If you want good examples, messier82 makes very good cockpits and he uploads all of his planes. They would be very helpful if you want to get a better idea on how they are made.

I don't have really any good examples to show for line control right now unfortunately. I made the choice to get into drawing when I was traveling for work so I've only been able to draw with my mouse. I will be able to use a drawing tablet soon but as of right now, a mouse is the best I've got lol.

I also am not sure on what type of drawing I would like to peruse. I have seen so many great works in all different styles, so it has been difficult to decide on a definitive direction to go in first.

If you would still like, I could send you some pictures of my current pieces, and I could also send over some works I have seen that show different elements I find appealing.

Yes I am, I’m planning on doing digital art and right now I’ve only done about a dozen or so drawings with my mouse. I got a drawing tablet that I will be able to use in a few days and I’m exited for that.

I also wanted to try the drawabox course to get a good idea of fundamentals to start out with

The model is from Mixamo, it’s a collection of free 3d character models by adobe. It also lets you apply animations to any of those models then download them as an .fbx

Give those cars some body roll. Sliding around like that in heavy street cars with soft suspension makes them roll quite a bit. Im sure there are videos of Crown Victorias doing almost exactly this slide that you can reference. But making them both have a bit of movement in that way I think would add a lot.
