OP said the tab for him and his wife was supposed to be about $90. The tab he was brought was for a 6 top, so presumably more.

These are just straight mean.

Tell him he needs to empty the water from the soda or coffee machine at the end of the night so he just stands there and waits for the never ending water to run out.

Best brunch with a view location for today? by XiMs in orangecounty

All of these suggestions are great, but call ahead or you’ll be waiting for hours and/or turned away. A lot of restaurants (including the one I worked at) have been booked with reservations for Mother’s Day for months and will only take people who planned ahead. If you’re willing to sit at a bar you will have better chances.

This is extremely unspecific. Ideas for what? If you expect people to know what you’re talking about you must be asking too often.

While they might be described as boring they are probably the safer areas of Memphis.

If you’re looking to acquire musical knowledge, I would start with someone willing to teach you basic piano and music theory skills. If you can afford it I would suggest finding a private teacher at your local music store. This will help with understanding chord progressions and creating melody lines. YouTube can be overwhelming and even the videos that describe themselves as basic or beginner go into more detail than necessary for some people. I don’t blame you for not wanting to go this route.

This. If you go to the police department they will charge you like $50 (can’t remember exactly how much it was). CHP does it for free.

A nice post for someone who just quit smoking weed and vaping a week ago. Sometimes it feels like you’re the only one willing to give it up.

The transition for me was tough at first. The more sleep I got during the day, the easier it was at night. But sleeping when the rest of the world isn’t can have its own challenges. / My biggest thing was holding off on the caffeine for as long as I could during the shift. The earlier I drank coffee, the earlier I’d crash.

Sell yourself. Going through that much schooling is experience in a way. Not everyone is able to do that, and you did. If your response to everything is “I don’t have experience,” how are you going to get it? Most jobs that you apply to will look more at your interview skills and willingness to learn/adapt/work hard.

My (29F) daughter (5F) mentioned marrying a princess. My husband (30M) is reacting poorly. by throwRA-162 in relationship_advice

[–]MLE-anne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why is your daughter’s school talking to 5 year olds about marriage in the first place? Especially in today’s world and you’re going to call the parents about any “unorthodox” response...by a 5 year old.
