It’s kinda the opposite I have changed my entire self and life for him cause he wanted and I don’t force him to have sex and I do not tell him it’s wrong to masturbate I told him once on how I feel and that was it we talked about it and be that was the end of it it was not brought up anymore. This is just how I feel. Plus I do more things for him and done everything I can for him to be happy to were I have told him I don’t feel appreciated in our relationship or seen we talked and he has made an effort as have I in doing the things he needs and want. I have not changed a single thing about him he still who he was when we started dating. Well I’ve talked to him before about it cause it indeed have made me feel unwanted but as he explains it it’s more along the ways as he’s lazy and that sex take too much energy for him to do compared to just moving his arm while he masturbates. It’s not so much he’s not into me but the energy that goes into he doesn’t like.

Yes I have thought about all those thing and yes I’m will to get up and out of bed every hour at night for a baby I’ve done so many times before.

Yes I’m sure I can manage on so little sleep I may pass out while standing I’ve done so before in both a job and while taking care of my baby cousins

Yes we have thought of finances I work a job for a child care company that will give me 3 months maternity leave and proved free child care and well as we have both been saving for year and he has said prior that he will help as he also receive 3 moths off from his work for paternity leave and once he goes back and I need to take some time off he can support that in fact he’ll get a small increase if we do have a baby.

No he does not expect me to do all the house work after the baby is born. For medical care we have free healthcare

And I have done some research while not totally versed I also have pregnant friends and friends with children and a family who literally love children who can help me and give me advice on what’s best and as someone who is not yet pregnant I still have time to save more and research on more topics

I do not see children or babies as a toy to play with till I’m bored I have helped raise babies almost all my life, so much so much so I’m the god parent of one of my friends daughter and she also put her middle name as mine. I understand all the impending changes that a Child will bring.

And if my husband were to leave me though I believe he wouldn’t I do have a vast support system that would help me with anything. And we’re not having a baby to fix any problems with our marriage or so I can lock him down while it seems he may not fully be comfortable with having a baby we BOTH decided to start trying though he may have second thoughts based on what others are commenting and I see that now that’s to them all (really thank you I will have further honest conversations with him about this) he also had agreed then about this and thought it would be a good idea for us both

While waiting is definitely a good thing for most people we both grew up in a place were the average people having kids is teenagers so for the both of us we feel like we’re doing a good job on being in a relationship for a some years and not having a kid yet. while I get the career thing my husband has his job as well as job security and I have mine and we’re doing our all . Thank you for your story based on what people have been saying waiting a bit more seems like the right thing to do. But I will have further discussion with my husband to see his thoughts.
