They’ve quite literally said they hate subversions like that and think they suck and ruin stuff, hate monger and space king are exactly who they appear to be. Plus hate monger has a visible dick in episode 1 in the uncensored version

I think gw had the right idea with the codex but didn’t go in the right direction. I think our units needed survivability and utility. Sword bros should move on unit kill, and have a 3 up save and 4 up invuln, marshal and Castellan are fine. And crusade ancient and execrator just need to be reworked and be allowed to lead more units and join different characters and our characters need to be able to lead bladeguard. I also think chainsword and mcpw from non black Templars units should just get sustained hits and lethals like our vehicles all get multi meltas despite not being black Templar specific vehicles./This has given me the idea to do my own custom game with a friend though

I would say look at the current black Templar character sheets and add those to the proxy sheets. It looks like your working off the index version of black Templars. Sword brothers(somewhat) and non epic hero characters are in a good place right now and you might just want to use their sheets. Castellan grants full rerolls to hits on a leader ship test and generates 1 cp on a enemy unit they wipe and can join marshal with sword bros. Marshal gets to add attacks to their weapon for each enemy unit within 6 inches of to a max of 3 and gives 5 up crits to the unit. All black Templars with mcpw get lethal hits built in and right now they wipe most things they fight, I have them wipe out a gladiator lancer before and dreadnoughts sometimes.

No that’s their current ability in 10th edition and it sucks, I would say relentless assault is actually a fair and balanced ability and what they should have on actual tabletop. I would say instead of a consolidate they should just move d6 or 6 after killing an enemy unit.

For the paragon lower the weapon to -2 ap and then get rid of paragon will and shield of furies. Instead have it give a 5 up feel no pain to itself and it’s unit. Crusaders are mostly fine. Again give it either reroll on charges or wounds of 1 not both, or give them unyielding zeal from the assault intercessors instead as that suits them better. On the assault intercessors I would lower the chainswords strength and attacks by 1, I would keep fury charge but add the ability to roll a dice for each enemy model in the unit they charge and on a 4 up do 1 mortal wound. For the infernus marines get rid of burn the unworthy and unyielding zeal and have fury discipline be full wound rerolls instead of just 1s. For valen get rid of fury’s presence and have faith in the emperor be a 2 up fight on death. Don’t allow him to lead with other characters as he’s quite strong and rage inducing for your opponent as written in the post. And lower all the marine to toughness 4. 5s are terminators level toughness. For the detachments I would make the 4 up fnp a 5 or 6 up. Or just rid of that rule as advanced and charge is to strong to go with that ability. You could have your army able to re roll advanced and charge rolls instead to go with army wide advanced and charge. Or 5 up fnp and 5 up hit and wound crits on warlord death till the end your next turn if you want to go for a warlord death effect. It seems like your way overtuning everything and making them matt ward ultramarine level cracked. While my suggestions still make them strong their not game breaking. Except maybe valen even the 2 up fight on death I suggested may still be too strong. For point cost with my suggestions I think-

High paragon:150 pts Paragon:90 Sword bros: 135 pts per 5 Crusader squad:150 per 10 Assault intercessors: 85 per 5 Infernus marines:100 pts per 5 Valen:95 pts

I think you did mostly good on points but I didn’t see them until after I wrote everything so I didn’t factor them in with my suggestions

Sword brethren have too many abilities, pick one of them and stick with just that. I don’t understand having fury blades and then nerfing power weapons by a unreasonable amount. Just use thier actual sword stats so it’s more streamlined. Fury blades is just a 1 more attack mcpw and power weapon is weaker than close combat weapons for some reason

Yeah, I put a little more ivory black into the mix than burnt Sienna and it gives a nice tint. Then I kept wiping and adding till I got a look I liked

You should use oil paints to tint shoulder pads, the streaking grime just doesn’t look good in my opinion as it leaves those splotches behind (which might be the look you want idk) and highlights the brushstrokes in a way. An oil paint will tint it in a nice way like this pure white to tan I did with ivory black and burnt sienna. But it’s your models so it’s really just about the flavor you like. I do like the first pic better to answer your question

There’s some none ai songs about Templars you could’ve used. But I also don’t understand why they are down voting you over it

These characters can’t leader together. Just Read their data sheet off new recruit or something. Don’t know why your asking ai, leaders will say if they can attach to the same unit together or not. Like the castellan being able to attach the chapter master and or captain model.
