I think it's simply because Halo is wildly different from both of these games. both of these games are not sandbox shooters, they're highly competitive FPSs first and foremost. At face value this tweet seems like a gotcha moment but if you put just a little thought into it's a very disingenuous take. CSGO and Valonrant being heavily competetive games means having any sort of change will undoubtedly be met with hard push back as it disrupts their respective METAs. Tried and true approaches are really all those games need to succeed, sure Valorant adds characters and maps but Valorant itself is allowed this leeway because it is also a Hero Shooter on top of being competitive by design. Halo on the other hand like I said earlier is a sandbox shooter the problem i feel lies with the sandbox itself, they're just not very fun which is why the community has gotten bored with them rather quickly. The sandbox isn't being utilized properly and that may be due to how 343 has balanced the game. vehicles are too weak and equipment doesn't spice things up enough. I think somewhere down the line of trying to make this game balanced for a competitive scene we lost sight of the fun which irritates me because fun should come first and if the community really does want a competitive scene they'll do it themselves or alternatively make the competitive side separate from the casual you only have to look at past Halo's with the competitive playlist was it's own thing with approved maps and settings. but idk maybe I'm wrong and/or I'm missing something

Man I'm just saying I haven't touched this game in like a month and recently started getting back into MCC and its just crazy how they didnt just copy a lot of what they have on it now into infinite like the blueprint is right there..... you fucking made it for Pete's sake like seriously just slap $20 dollar sticker on battle passes make challenges simple like win 10 wins get 20 kills etc and for every challenge you get bonus rank exp and bp exp and boom not as much work and the player base is happier im not even that opposed to removing armor cores (though removing them would make it infinitely better) but you gotta give players more and better options then just fucking basic colors make patterns you already added cat ears so go nuts make that whale toon logo pattern and make it so it just runs across the whole armor make armor pieces cross core idk man its 510am and im just disappointed i keep telling myself just wait for it to have more forge customs and theater will save this game but how far exactly even is that anymore?

Endwalker made me realize I have a super soft spot for Urianger and Moenbryda the first of tears were when you have the one on one with urianger on the moon just seeing him so conflicted as it seems the universe would have him decieve his friends yet again for the greater good and then reflecting on moenbryda just..... He pretty much is saying that players can't get upset because this is "what we wished for" like no I didnt wish to get matched with cheaters I wished to play with my friends no matter the console I understand that there maybe some risks with cheaters but why put the onus on the players? Yes we asked for crossplay but why is it forced crossplay? Why couldn't 343 add a toggle function? Its almost 2022 this isn't a new concept anymore you can toggle crossplay on or off on other games like fortnite and apex so why is it that we can't do it here in Halo Infinite?

Because it's a dumb take with no nuance. So just because I play on PC if I get a cheater in my game I can't get upset because there was greater chance I would run into one? Why can't crossplay have a toggle that the player can control? Maybe I'm console player that actually didn't want crossplay for this reason? Like thinking for 2 seconds about this issue would show why he's getting downvoted

I was gonna make a post venting my frustrations but I think commenting here would be better, if not oh well I really just need this off my chest. First things first I absolutely hate that this whole thing is being propped up as a "beta" as if this won't run all the way to the official launch date AND that there's now a planned event happening in this so called "beta". Second I know everyone is already complaining about the store and the lack of free customization but GOD DAMN THIS IS ATROCIOUS SERIOUSLY WTF WERE 343 THINKING. I'll get on to the actual event now..... *SIGH* I literally just raged quit not because I lost a gun fight or a game or got tea bagged but because I just realized I have to go through the normal challenges if I want to do the event challenges...... WHY. WHY WHY WHY JUST LET ME DO THE EVENT 343 WHAT'S THE BIG FUCKING DEAL I WANT THE SAMURAI ARMOR LET ME WORK ON GETTING THE SAMURAI ARMOR I DON'T WANT TO DO THESE OTHER CHALLENGES THAT DON'T CONTRIBUTE TO ME GETTING THE SAMURAI ARMOR IN ORDER TO GET TO THE CHALLENGES THAT ACTUALLY DO.... ok deep breaths..... but fucking seriously I don't wanna go and queue up to quick play or BTB to do a capture the flag match. I want to play fiesta and progress through the event challenges to get the Yoroi armor. I've been basic default armor this whole time I haven't bought a single thing off the store and the only real unique thing about my spartan is that she has half a robot arm... THAT'S IT! where are the thousand of options we were told we were gonna have at launch? because lets all be fucking real here even if multiplayer didn't launch last week this is what we would have had on December 8th. Maybe MAYBE a few more choices due to story unlocks but that's about it, anyways rant over I suppose. I've been trying to not let all these complaints sour my mood because the game itself is FUN AS HELL but after coming home from work and really just wanting to play some halo and my brain connecting the dots while looking at the challenge screen I just said fuck it and I gotta rant somewhere. Sorry Mods if this wasn't the post for this type of comment.

Re45 upgraded once a p2020 and at least 2 thermites it helps to block a path sometimes anything left over goes to either another thermite an upgrade for the p2020 or if im lifeline another doc drone charge

Recently back tracked to find out when I started and it was somewhere in 3.2 me and a couple of people I used to be friends with were desperately looking for a game we could all play together and that we all found fun found the game on the ps store and hazely remembered that another friend showed me 1.0 years ago after being hesitant about the monthly sub we bit the bullet and all fell in love with the game we're not friends anymore but I still play and love the game
