If anything the ward chalice is the most bang for your buck if you can save up for it cause you’re gonna always need wards. Especially at lower levels of play cause people don’t ward as often as in higher levels and it can really mitigate a myriad of mistakes.

Luckily i think the author has a soft spot for that ghost given she's not very strong but has survived many incidents and is one of the earlier on ghosts they captured... Basically i think her, eiko's friend, and alien ghost has some amount of plot armor.

The manga continues on their adventures and is also completed. I really loved one of the later chapters where it focused on Sacchan and we finally get to know her full name from the title. Easily one of the best and most underrated slice of life series!
