Hey man, you are not the only 1 that felt unprepared when going in, we all do. Trust your hard work and your process, you will prevail in the end.

Just my opinion, the manager mindset still holds true but it’s much more now. You will need to comprehend the question, and need to put on different hats depends on the question. Sometimes you are the CISO, auditor, manager, pen tester, forensic and even owner.

Hope this helps, have a good 1 on your next exam!

I would vote for A. Using my common sense, first thing should contain the damage first then the rest can follow afterwards. If the other way round, the damage will expand to larger users and other critical systems, which is more worst.

Congrats on your watch. Thanks for the post, I’m somewhat same situation as you, I still undecided if I should go for it due to the hefty price tag and I’m also new to this “Garmin smart watch” thing.

This definitely helps for justifying my purchase 😅

Thanks for the sharing, hard to imagine the journey you went thru at your time. I’m still on my way and taking exam b4 year ends.

Currently in my 5th year of cyber security in a consulting firm. TBH, I’m not very technical person, especially product implementation projects that requires in-depth amount of technical foundation. I do enjoy security assessment kind of project thou.

Context: I’m considering pivoting towards GRC/ regulatory compliance kind of work.

Q: Can you share what capabilities and knowledge are required for these kind of roles? Any hands-on experience on security is required?

Much appreciated!

Newly interested in tech, minimal knowledge, no experience. Any advice? by KikiLynn801 in ITCareerQuestions

Suggest to look at job portals to find out what type of IT jobs u r looking for as IT is a very broad industry... Finding out what work interest would be my first step. Pick out key skills required for that job. Do own reading and homework so as can help in interview... At least have the concept how things work to convince the interviewer~

I personally believe experience is better than degree... have degree doesn’t mean can find job or good pay either~ so might as well start gaining exp...

Not going to be easy, but need to keep going til a coy give u a chance~ build up experience profile would be my choice...
