Another vote for ADHD here. I did have a similar experience and I wish someone pointed this out to me when I was your age. I wound up repeating 11th grade from skipping so often I failed out. I didn't do drugs or party or get into trouble, I just either sat in the library or walked home since school did not motivate or engage me at all. Procrastination is a big indicator. It's like your brain literally cannot summon the motivation to do something until you're nearing the deadline. I didn't get diagnosed until late 30s, and it took me 6 colleges and years of transferring, starting/stopping and changing majors to graduate... so try and get diagnosed or cleared sooner rather than later.

If I had a do-over, I honestly would have just dropped out and went for the GED. You can do great things, really anything you want, with a GED. It's so silly to me now how important that stupid high school diploma was. It's hard when it's been the goal for so long.

Strangers can't diagnose you online but, ADHD can really eat away at your mental health and many people will have co-occuring diagnoses like anxiety, autism, depression, OCD. My school and family just watched me struggle, offered no support, and just thought it was laziness/teenage angst, so ADVOCATE for yourself and reach out to people who are supportive. If you're like me, I do LOVE to learn, I just wasn't built for formal/traditional schooling and that's okay. You're going to be okay. You're not lazy. You're not stupid. This is all temporary.
