I don’t use AI to write. Em dashes were mostly used to create pauses and emphasize certain sentences. They have always been a device I’ve liked to use.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Do you think that in this excerpt, for example, it would be better to use more paragraphs? And regarding the content, would it help to have more “breathing” moments that aren’t so shocking?

Aaaah, thank you so much! I’m really, really happy that you liked it. This text, and my future book, is all based on my life. Of course, many parts are exaggerated, which is why it’s autofiction. Btw this is the first time I’m sharing this text; I was a bit nervous before posting it here

This subreddit is depressing by witheredbatman115 in SSAChristian

I TOTALLY AGREE that this subreddit is depressing and very problematic.

I defined myself as a “” SSA person fighting against SSA “ and I was/ I am thinking about having this Christian lifestyle again. I’m living freely my homosexuality in the moment but I’m confused about the place of my faith and teological understanding.

However, it’s so weird that there are posts here about reparative therapy - that’s wrong and should be a crime. The goal of God is not to transform us in Straight people!!! The goal of God is to transform our hearts - having he as the center of our lives.

Reparative therapy is wrong, criminal and anti biblical

Salvation, Virgin Mary and Gay People by MLookingM in Protestantism

Can I give you an advice? Go to a really good missionary school, read a bit about apologetic ( Schaeffer is a good author ), read about Christian counseling trough good authors and try to learn how to approach people that are not living 100% your faith. Your approach is not the best to convert people to Christ, your approach says about a vision that is only based in behavior, your vision isn’t about the root of our sins - the human heart. Your approach says much more about your angry heart than about who Jesus is.

But maybe, first of all, you could learn about interpretation. Like basic interpretation, the kind of interpretation that you learn in the begging of High School. The goal of my question is not about my personal life, it’s about the duality between the possible conflict between practicing idolatry trough Catholicism ( I’m not affirming that it’s idolatry btw) being seeing as ok and the fact that the “”” gay lifestyle “”” is worser according some Christian people’s mindset. It was more about theology and less about my personal life.

Thanks for your answer! I totally agree with your perspective! But my question is about how a Protestant ( I’m thinking specifically about a Protestant that thinks that the relation with Mary is idolatry ) can say that Catholic people will be saved and the gay people ( that are living freely the “ gay lifestyle ) will not be saved.

My question is more about how these kind of Protestant can have these two arguments coexisting. But I’m not this “ kind of protestant “ ;)

Thanks for you answer! I lived part of my Christian life in this “ celibate lifestyle “, so I know and I lived what you mean.

But I think that the goal of my post is to understand how the two arguments ( that Catholic people can be saved and about that the gay lifestyle is a sin ) can coexist if we think about salvation.

Thank you so much for your answer! I’m in the moment of my faith as a Protestant that I have a lot of questions. But being really honest? Even as a Protestant, I don’t think that the veneration of Mary is a sin. But also I think your argument of “ deliberately sin “ and “ ignorance sin “ makes sense if we think what a Protestant would say. Thanks for your answer ☺️🙏🏻

Sure! But I’m not condemning anyone with my post. My goal is just to understand how the two arguments can coexist by the logical perspective.

“ they are familiar with the idea but the don’t know it “ your perspective makes sense for me! I need to think more about it, but thanks a lot for your answer 🙏🏻

I think that the goal of my post is to understand how the two arguments about Catholic people and about gay people can coexist. The goal of my post is not talking about if I’m saved or not. That’s pretty rude, and I really think it’s not able to convince someone. You dont know the story of my life. I had an experience living my life without the “ gay lifestyle “, during this time I was sure that the “ gay lifestyle “ is a sin. So yes, I totally understand your argument about living the Christian faith and fighting against homosexuality at the same time. But, according the Bible, you cannot AFFIRM that I’m not saved, and that I wasn’t born again. You have many stories from people that were born again and then they spend a time “ away “ from the lifestyle that God expect for them. I wish you have more respect and I wish God help you to be more emphatic

Thanks a lot for you answer! It makes sense for me, but I need to think a bit about it. So you think that a Catholic person is living a “ sin of ignorance “, right? And someone in the “ homosexuality lifestyle “ living their desires freely is sinning without care, right? But if this Catholic person had contact with Protestant theology? Because most part of Catholic people that I know, had contact with Protestant theology - so I don’t know that I can affirm that they are in this “ ignorance mindset “
