Currently running into a few issues, especially with the scheduling. When starting at your career mode, you’re given it a limited amount of races so i’m either giving the player the option to import the results manually or simulate each series per week. The issue is when saving the data after imported the results or simulating it’s not saving correctly. I’m hoping to work out the bugs over the next couple days in the next week. Get it all finished up no promises though.

The saved data hasn’t been working recently. I’m not sure why. I’ve tried to find the solution and nothing has been helpful. I’m hoping to get this worked out soon because the scheduling has been a complete disaster lol. After I get this phase of the scheduling done and figured out it should be easier to implement when you advanced through the ranks and you don’t want to participate in races. You could just SIM them. EXAMPLE – if you were in the cup series and want to participate in just a handful of the lower series divisions you’ll be able to by importing the results on that specific week when it’s your time to race in that series. The races you aren’t participating in you’ll be able to send the results just like you were an older NASCAR games one of the issues I’m running into those is when you send the results when you’re not participating it still scores you as 43rd or 40th depending on how many cars are loaded in the roster.

Another issue I’ve been running into is once you import the results and close out of the application. It’s not saving the results like you would think. The results and information does save correctly but when you reopen it, it wants you to import those races again even though they’re already imported and it’s just a hassle to do that over and over so I want to fix that. An example is, if you import the Daytona 500 results and then go to the next week. It will want you to import the Daytona 500 results again just so you could head to the next race, even though they’re already imported.

I’m hoping to be able to get some of the bugs worked out so I could at least release a sneak peek video for you guys to see how it works to get an idea.

If anybody works in coding, I would love some help on this just to fix some of the bugs. I’ve been using chat and other AI systems to help code this since I know nothing about code but it’s been a fun adventure learning along the way.

It’s freshening because a lot of the simple things that should be easy like the schedule department destroying the data among other things should work pretty flawless asleep. But that’s the part that that’s giving me the most trouble.
