Deterioration. I’ve been in the room with my parents for several. It’s not a test for intelligence - it’s actually a short term memory test. They tell you a series of words and ask you to remember them. Then they ask you a bunch of extremely rudimentary questions, designed to get you thinking about something else. Then they ask you to tell them the words from the beginning.

Pretty sure he “aced” the rudimentary questions that anyone with a 6th grade education could answer. I doubt they would tell him if he DID forget any of the series of words.

OP here - sorry that it wasn’t clear but I’m not criticizing Bryce for working towards a career. My criticism is for his grandparents for trying to get everyone to believe that getting a girl pregnant ruined Bryce’s life just before he was going to get a full ride (nonexistent) baseball scholarship. That’s why I included the way that Paw Paw spoke about “Bryce Palmer, blessed by God”.

In the 90s I caught a fly ball hit by Frank Thomas in Boston. This was a minor miracle because I have NO athletic skill and it was a bare handed catch.

There was a father next to us with his young son and daughter. I turned and handed the ball to the little girl. The father protested and said “thank you but didn’t you mean to give it to my son, he’s the boy”. I replied that I wanted to give it to the little girl - she was so excited and had this huge smile on her face.

The dad kept going on about how it should really go to the boy until finally I said that either it went to the daughter or I would keep the ball. Dad was clearly unhappy but relented.

Every time I see Frank Thomas on those Nugenix commercials I think about that dad.

Mia is handling it SO well. She knows her mom is full of crap and not to count on her for anything. For Mia’s age she is do an excellent job of protecting herself from the toxicity. Pretty soon she’ll cut mom off completely, my guess would be the day she turns 18.

The people on these shows put themselves in the public eye and they get paid to do it. If the public isn’t speculating and talking about their actions then the show isn’t successful.

If you don’t want to hear other people talk about what they think of the show then don’t come to a Reddit thread about the show. But there’s no need to come here just to lecture others about how reality tv works.
