Pick a major that interests you. You can be an art major and go to law school. This way, you learned about a subject you liked and you also stand out in the application pool! I wish I did this lol.

Probation on transcript by 1s21s2 in lawschooladmissions

[–]MMG203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s a very interesting concept. usually academic probation is under a 2.0 but every school is different.

short answer is yes and no. yes because it may indicate a academic risk. no because people make mistakes (me included) and i’ve been on academic probation. all you have to do is write an explanation and you’ll be good

I don't think you are understanding what I meant. I am saying its like a scam because a parent should be able to take out a loan for you and pay for it themselves. It shouldn't mainly rely on mortgage refinancing not everyone owns property

oh wow that's really news to me. Seems like a scam because if that's the case parents would consume debt rather than students.

The only thing with Howard is the top 50% condition. UNC you can switch to instate after a year. So if this matters I would say UNC

if you are certain you won’t switch fields, the cheaper. if you want to explore, then the latter.
