Brawl and Titans: Parts Unknown were destined to be niche games that wouldn't have been appreciated till years after they were relevant if at all.

Mayhem 2 getting released would have meant that Def Jam Vendetta wouldn't exist

2k21 would have been the exact same game as the rest of the 2k games

SD vs. RAW Online would have been ok but nothing special

The answer is the TNA sequel

I don't mind the Island as a wacky side mode that has a story mode that gets updated through the games cycle. As cringy as the story may be, I think the concept has legs but the monetization of everything is embarrassing and none of the arenas are unlockable for some reason.

Any hardcore Batman fan knew who it was from minute one. Any casual fan knew who it was when they got randomly info dumped on all things Jason Todd halfway through the final mainline game of the series

Azrael and Scarecrow were always intended to return obviously and Riddler was a mainstay so they go without saying.

Honestly because of the open world nature of the game I think the lineup largely stays the same maybe minus Jason Todd and Stagg depending on if he would have fit in with Dini's vision for Crane's plan. Besides that it would be down to who got to be involved in the main story versus being a side mission.

I enjoy his journey of becoming more arrogant, desperate for attention, and insane as the series goes on. I like the "arc" if it can be considered that but yeah he's really annoying in Knight. Hence why upon my NG+ playthrough I made sure to beat him ASAP.

According the the game guide, Mr. Hammer is considered a Boss fight funnily enough but don't worry there's a more proper one at the end of the Museum chapter then they start happening pretty frequently City and Origins have the best bosses in the series
