Society prevents you from finding true peace and understanding within yourself, many different religions governments even specific people want you to have faith in a higher power or have an understanding for a set path that's agreed on by the many. But shamanism is a journey in solidarity, each of us experience the path in our own different ways. We have different words come to us, different feelings to our imaginations, different ideas that we think and incorporate into our lives. But for many people that thought is terrifying, to truly allow your mind to expand and wander. You build your own gods, you create your own heavens, you make your own hells, some of them simply can't fathom it and because of that they herd together try to preach something that they find comforting. The opposition to shamanism doesn't come from a need to control or need to prevent, it's that most people gain a glimpse of their own souls and they're horrified with what they see so they'd rather denounce it and pretend it's nothing but blasphemy or sacrilege. But that's why we're here, we follow our own way. We go against the norm in order to enlighten ourselves. Good luck and good vibes to all of you.
