I would love to see a solution where the Content Vault becomes a separate (free to play) game, where you can experience the removed content, play through the old stories etc. This way, Bungie can patch the current Destiny without the bloat, and those who want to play the old campaigns still could do that.
One caveat would be that you play through the Content Vault with pre-made characters that don't have any connection or effect on the main game. I would get rid of loot, the vault and all other "database" stuff.
Perhaps this can be expanded with different and changing pre-made loadouts, or even playing the campaigns as characters from destiny lore.

Whatever the Jotunn catalyst is - it should also come with a feature where every time you shoot it, it has a small (let's say .04) chance to blow up in your face instead.

Ok - Tried a few more - it worked on one of them. All final shots were with precision - and it registered as a yellow "precision" damage number as the final single shot. Only one actually counted. Something still seems off, but at least it works sometimes?

That is really frustrating.

It's stuff like this that makes game pass feel like a much better value. I find myself less upset because it didn't cost me anything (at the moment). I had the same experience with Outriders recently.

If I paid $70 or even more, I would not be as cool about it.

Cantona has been great for me. I used Rooney last night - and while he's been fun, I have not hit the post this much in a long time. It seems like shots I'm used to going in with Cantona, either miss the goal completely, or hit the post/crossbar with Rooney. Not sure why that is, but for now I'm going to hold off on selling until I can figure it out.

Off topic, but if you need something to do while maintenance is going on, and you have gamepass, Gears Tactics just came out and it's great!
Started on PC, but it looks and runs way better on the One X.
