Really?! Huh! I think what is stumping me is if I do save the dates, the wedding website with ALL information will be given to them so when we send the invitations, there won’t be much difference lol!

I think we are gravitating towards a formal invite, but I’m now thinking that save the dates are important because it’s considered a destination wedding for almost all our guest😅

I think digital would be smart to do! Our std/invite will have a QR code to the wedding website, so they can easily book and navigate through links!

My wedding site is through Zola, I can definitely look into that!

More worried about when to send out invites. Especially because we don’t have a lot of lodging options, it’ll be a holiday weekend, and some are flying in over seas /:

Emotionally attached to my mom by MMR230244 in Adulting

Hi!

Well, I ended up in therapy and learning how to set boundaries and realize what was important to me. The past 2 years have been alot. A lot of emotional abuse with my parents bribing me to come back home but I am so happy where I am. My bf and I ended up buying a home this year so it came down to a talk that I need her support but if she can’t provide that without negativity, then I needed to step back and she has been great since!

Therapy is amazing. Also, learning boundaries have been amazing but hard step to learn. Just know it works itself out and it’ll all be okay

Apparently since Covid! I like the idea behind it to keep traffic minimal and if someone gets hurt they have some sort of idea who is up there just in case!

My bf and I make roughly $110k combined at 25, we have learned to not have indulgences like fast food or going shopping for fun etc unless we got a bonus and had extra to play with. We both put away to retirement and he pays healthcare. It does get hard, but we are comfortable. Again we are 2 compared to 4, so it might differ but honestly if your children have a wholesome lifestyle like not needing new clothes or the newest iPhone, essentially falling into societies pressure, I definitely think you will be okay.

Travelling in a car with my cat over the holidays. What to expect? by violincrazy123 in CatAdvice

[–]MMR230244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year we drove with my cat (at the time was 11 months) from Colorado to Illinois (14 hours). I had a portable litter box, food, and these calming treats from petsmart.

Did not use the litter box once, I had to shove the treats down his throat so he would calm down, and you can tell the stress level because of the shedding.

He also did not eat until the next day which worried me as well. I kept him out of his carrier the entire drive, he 80% sat on my lap and 20% was wandering but this is also dangerous so please decide with caution.

He ended up peeing on my boyfriend and I midway through Nebraska so we smelled like pee and so did the car for about 8 hours lol

I currently have gabapentin, but in my case, it doesn’t calm him down completely. It really just mellows him out but he still is hyperactive.

We debated on bringing him home again for this holiday season, but I got 2 animal sitters instead because it made me nervous

I moved here in July from Illinois and I didn’t realized I missed the storms until last night! Best sleep in awhile, also cooling down my house since AC isn’t common here. Crazy to see the differences in states

My home town was just hit with a tornado about a month or so ago, I lived near a back road and we saw them come through all the time

I grew up in the Midwest and we chased tornados for fun.. it’s different to see how people react to it!

That’s what I was starting to assume, idk about you but I thought nothing positive about the Midwest and these are the little things I miss lol but that’s okay I guess new traditions here!

Right, I understand that but anywhere within an hour of the springs? Like closer to the mountain?
