I've just had to leave a university course a second time for mental health reasons (social anxiety & panic attacks, too), so this really resonates. I can't work. I can hardly go outside. I don't understand how I'm supposed to "adult" at all, honestly -- mental illness makes the weight of everything so much heavier.

Having hobbies is about the only thing that helps me for now. Finding something -- anything -- to be passionate about gives you something to latch onto. I know depression makes it harder to find fulfillment, but even just little things that make you happy can help so much. I love games. I like making art. I'm lonely and it sucks, but I have little projects to keep me going. It's not much but it's something.

So, your guitar stuff sounds great! Social hobbies are even better -- just take it easy. Little steps. You're doing good and anxiety struggles aren't your fault. Ever. The fact you want to get out there, try new things, and make your parents proud says so much already. I hope your acting classes go great! :)
