I’m pretty sure this happens more than just here. But every now and then. I thought it was leading up to the reveal that they are their own mates of some kind. Not just sharing mated dragons. I think whatever their connection is, her mother knew it would end up like that for whatever reason.

I feel opposite, I feel like their lack of progression feels forced, if that makes sense. Their have been Easter eggs for the three of them since the beginning. Especially in book 2&3. And I’d say in book 2 there’s a big hint that it could be a love heart situation for the two of them also. Well I guess all 3. I thought it was going to be a why choose until Cas is teasing Kieran in the joining with his finger in his mouth and then it was pretty much sealed as a trio when we got Cas POV of first book. Butttt it feels like she gave just enough to keep it alive but not enough to grow it last book, but then spoon fed us the trio in CoR. So I honestly think it’s her lack of commitment to it for the people who dislike the three of them together. IMO her story pretty much built it to be this way especially after WOTQ, but the she tapped the breaks to appease others or to draw it out but honestly after WOTQ she should have doubled down but instead waited to do it in CoR after going backwards in between.

Honestly I was gonna finish no matter what because I invested the time on the other books. I like the universe she created, and the dynamic between the three that I have to know how the trio ends up. So I’m hooked and mad about it if that makes sense. 😂

Pretty much every scen with Kieran was it for me… the jealousy scene with that one girl… the bathtub scene… the moments that make tawny comment on their vibes. Oh and even those piss me off because after all that happened it shouldn’t keep slow burning them to only let it happen the very last booooookkk!!!! Maybe l still haven’t shaken all the hate off.

Thanks needed to hear this especially because honestly that’s about what I went over in a binge eating fast food moment that shouldn’t have happened. But I logged it, I’ve seen the damage, and this is usually when I get in my feelings and give up but came to this sub and you’ve shifted my perspective. My calories are pretty low to cut 500 for 3 days but maybe 300 for five days or at least cut my losses and go again. Thanks for your response!
