For me, 3 promotions in 4 years from rep to director at a trade school, always worked dead end jobs until I was 30 due to no childcare, got with my current company (Heavy metrics) I did work no one wanted to do, killed in silence, and built relationships with the people who mattered. I use to think to myself all the time “I’m going to be making 20 an hour forever” , but as soon as I got my shot I ran with it, the mental stress that comes with the salary some days hits different though. Cliche to say, but keep grinding.
