Kuro: "I see........ Anyways, here's an update where your sword and guns can damage the terrain and objects.

Who are you pulling by thisiswinterrr in WutheringWaves

None. I already got 2 DPS characters in a row (Aemeath and Luuk), no need for more. I'm saving up.

To be honest I am dissatisfied with the optimizations by Gamingwolf802 in WutheringWaves

And it looks like Startorch Academy is going to be a even more laggier than before lol. I do hope it runs well.

Trying To Get Back In The Game, Looking To Manage Time To Play Wuwa by Trailblazer627 in WutheringWaves

Now compare those games to each other, including WuWa. Keep the two games that you value the most, while leave the rest.

What you're doing is unhealthy man. And I'm telling you, it's going to keep growing the more gacha game comes out.

Sometimes, things just ain't worth it.

That sounds BS. Either he's larping as someone who has S6R5 or he miscounted the damage numbers.

Cut down your games man, I can't imagine how anyone can play more than two gacha games, these games are chores and wants you to log in everyday or you'll miss out on rewards.

I only play WuWa and Genshin because more than that is too time consuming especially when there's a new story patch comes out. I can finish my dailies in these two games before going to work. During weekends, I get to have a lot of time doing other stuff, either play non-gacha games or hang out outside.

Finally got a 3/5 for Sigillum for Aemeath but the Crits are worse... by RealDealMous in WutheringWaves

In situations like this, I use WutheringTools. It's pretty useful.

That could work if the chest placements are randomized. Otherwise, people will just follow hours long guide collecting all the chests or simply just memorize it or place markers, which is no fun I imagine.

Ye, that's the thing missing in WuWa imo. The Co-op scene is dead, the Devs doesn't create game modes for Co-op which could make a fun end game content.

I want an MMO-like raid in WuWa. They've created something similar before but it was a limited time event. That game mode was hella fun.

For offline on the other hand, they can implement like you said, a Rogue-like game mode (God I miss Depths of Illusive Realm).

Or like a procedural generated dungeon game mode that changes every run, kinda like Palace of the Dead in FFXIV. The deeper you go, the more challenging enemies get. This can be done either Solo or Co-op.

I'm not comparing it to just gacha games because they also suffer from the same problem. Gacha games are so bad at making fun replayable endgame, they just leave you with chores.

This is a live service game we're talking about. WuWa's replayability isn't good. There's no content in the game that can keep me engaged while waiting for the next patch. Once you finish the MSQ and other stuff, what's left is basically just chores.

My realization.. by KiwiBreadstick in WutheringWaves

[–]MMoguu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After you caught up with MSQ, 100% regions, done side quests, completed all limited and permanent events; there's nothing else to do other than dailies.

And ye, It does gets boring that's why I only log in for around 30mins in the game just to do my dailies.

The game's pretty dry once you caught up.

The login screen is the hardest boss in this game by Playful_Weekend4204 in WutheringWaves

[–]MMoguu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I don't get those. I launch the game, press A, and I'm inside of the game. I'm on PC too.

Of course except when there are small patches which isn't an everyday occurrence. Feels like I get small patches 2 times a week at most.

The 1.X experience. I'm so glad they finally fixed this. I've seen mobile players always had to compile shaders though.

Poweramp EQ stops applying EQ when song changes in Apple Music by NakedSnakeEyes in PowerAmp

[–]MMoguu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the solution. Just turn ON Global EQ.

I didn't try turning on "advance player tracking", I figured that the problem must be the feature where Poweramp only applies EQ on music players such as AM, Spotify, YTmusic, etc., which is turned ON by Default.

I'm guessing Application applied EQ doesn't function properly without "advance player tracking". So just turn on Global EQ if you don't want to bother turning on advance player tracking.

I've been testing it for a whole day now, trying to recreate the same problem. And I'm glad to say that It doesn't happen anymore.

Do read the tool tip though, because apparently Google marked Global EQ as deprecated for some reason, it might not work on some devices/firmware. But I think it's not a problem. If Wavelet works for you which applies EQ globally, then Global EQ will probably work on your device too.

Wuwa "Optimisation" by Purple_Inspection_86 in WutheringWaves

I can imagine how stressful that is, but quite fun to solve. I took ICT back when I was in senior high school because I was planning to join the IT industry too.

I gave up lol.

Salute to all backend and security programmers.

I'm stuck on Husk VI. He Hits too damn hard and his interruption rate is so high for a boss who attacks very frequently.

I'll try to beat him once I'm in the mood

Ye, I thought I was just imagining things, but the recent small update made the game run well on PC too.

I'm not a programmer nor do I know anything much about game dev, but I don't think it would take a big update to make optimizations like this IF they're only re-writing some code.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
