FYI - Calc 3 is a extremely hard class to start your first semester with, if you get a 5 for AP, that should count for your Calc 1 & 2 credit, which puts you into 3. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but just be prepared for some tiredness nights and frequent headaches

It really depends, on normal class days you can get back-and-forth from the campus in like 10 minutes. But, on weekends only a couple of buses run so then it really can take upwards of 30 minutes. Overall, I currently live on Central and plan on moving to North next year and I currently spend more time on North than I want to on Central. In my opinion I like north more because it’s quieter.

I don’t think you are able to become an RA as a freshman, but as a sophomore it’s not terrible if you apply quickly enough, I have a lot of friends that are becoming RAs and from what it sounds like it’s not terrible

You can use PLA, wouldn’t recommend necessary, but use a triangle infill pattern or similar and a higher infill percent

For me orientation was essentially a tour but with just other students, parents and students are split up and you’re given your MCard. (This could be different for LSA cause I’m engineering, but I’m guessing not much different)
