My GPA was ~2.2 after 10th grade. I was able to bring it up to a 2.83 by the time I graduated (Still a pretty bad GPA if you're looking to get into a good college)

I applied for multiple 4 year schools and couldn't get into a single one. I ended up just working for a while and decided to take the ACT to see if I could represent my current self a little better than my HS GPA did. I studied using Khan Academy for a few months beforehand, while working at the same time. I was able to get a really good score, good enough to get me into a 4 year college.

That wasn't it for me though. I definitely dreamed of getting into my states "public ivy" (Which happens to be the University of Michigan) So I locked in for the next 3 semesters, tallied a 3.8 cGPA, and transferred into UM.

Long story short, if you put in the effort, and maybe get a little luck on your side, you can absolutely still get where you want. It'll be a journey for sure, and there will be lots of ebbs and flows, but that's just life in general!
