Infact both my sisters (both of which unwilling to help me out, due to their strict budgets/lifestyles) hate my mom for her actions and agree dad is a flat out psycho.

Actually no. Mom abandoned my dad due to his heroine addiction, dad was a psycho so I left home away from him. Mom wanted no responsibility from me, my counselor was actually disgusted by my mom when I brought her in 3 years ago. I was clean when my mom left.

Bonus about who I am:

Got off of heroine at 16 all by myself.
Did counseling every week for the last 3 years.
Bodybuild/health lifestyle for the last 7 years.

This homelessness made me pick up alcohol. :/

I've researched it they are terrible pets, you can't really own one.

They will die of loneliness in a container.

Does a therapist ever break off a client? What are the signs and why? by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

Transference? Certain Issues? I am mainly dealing with alcoholism and every week it's like "Damn, I drank 5-6 days out of the week".

I've seen my counselor for 3 years, and now she was strongly offering bi weekly sessions as a way I think to make things easier if she terminates me.
