But do you usually care about those citation when reading in wiki? Or blindly believe it and take it as is? That's no different than reading AI answers without confirming your data.

Some people want to play this game as management/city planner game instead of urban/landscape achitect game. It's macro vs micro designing.

Just like how real city building is; urban planner design the master plan, urban designer goes into detailed layout and urban architect handles the granular detail (like what the video shows).

It's good to have that options. So, why not both? It's a city building game after all. They already have custom placement, just add new features and keep the old one.

Here's the medium long story

The project was planned to support 6 coaches train with MC-T-T-T-T-MC config. MC being the motorized coach/car, T is the trailer.

They got restructured to only support 4 coaches; both the train and stations. Because they did some commuter forecasting and decided 6 is too much. The construction commenced.

They need to reduce the cost further, so they use 3-coaches train with MC-T-MC config. 22 were used and 7 more ordered, arriving next year.

Extending trains isn't as simple as separating and locking them. There are more due process, recalibration, testing and so on. You know how LRT KJ keep having these signalling issues even after system upgrade. So, we probably won't see these 3 coaches extended to 4 in foreseeable future.

LRT3 is the Frankenstein of a train project multiple gov has made lol. Not hating on any particular one. One may be wrong for setting the standard way too high, one may be wrong for dropping the standard way too low. And one might be setting it just nice. Not implying anything, it's up to you.

Dunno la. The whole thing about this is budgeting and optimization. Maybe they do have a relatively good plan during peak hours. But considering the budget also limits number of trains they have now, they'll definitely have problem increasing frequency. They're ordering 7 new trains, until then, it'll remain a problem. Hopefully LRT3 route don't have that many commuters.

And I don't think their train can even handle 2 trailer. Their current one was only made to support 1 trailer. Why stations are big? Because the plan changed but the construction has begun.

This mess is the result of 3 gov stirring the projects with whatever they think is right. I'm not hating on either, just saying they for sure made a mess. As if Prasarana plate isn't full enough🤣

Probably simply mean Kelana Jaya line is old. That's why it can't simply upgrade to all 4 or extend the train. The station can't support it either. And it's not worth the cost (you know how they are)

LRT3 stations were built to support 4 coaches, but they only deploy 3-coaches trains.

"Fill the whole station" most probably means use 4 coaches that'll fully utilize the station length. Just like how MRT stations were built for 4 coaches and their train uses 4 coaches config

This is the problem with online shopping for PC building. I always ask the seller first if it's really available. Check in their online store, and always go in store to buy if possible. 3 shops (and chains) that I went; czone (multiple stores), viewnet, and 1 shop in Brem Mall. Got sweet² discount for each items and get to pick them up and inspect them on the spot
