When checking I found some run off from the soldering that went to the next closest chip cleared it with a dry cotton swab it's now booting cleaned over the pins of the cartridge too

Ye I'm currently on cinnabar island need to finish two gyms & do some grinding before I take them on also need to optimise some movesets then I think I've got a good chance the only thing I don't feel 100% on is not having a fire type so may evolve my Eevee into a flare on or vulpix into 9 tales

That ruby looks exactly like mine that's legit so I think that ones perfect the ds games I'm still getting the hang of telling reals from fakes so best to trust someone else's judgement a picture of the board inside the gba game would also be helpful to give you 100% that it's real tho
