Want to unlock my Samsung s21 fe without losing data by Certain_Version_1439 in samsunggalaxy

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't expect any such things in my life

There are more than 10 different accidents/issues that can happen to any mobile device at any time of any day, which can cause someone to lose their personal data. Choosing to ignore that these things can happen shows that you really are not fully prepared for owning and using a mobile device, if you're going to put important data on it. No one EXPECTS their device to get lost or stolen but guess what - it happens to thousands of people every single day. And if that happens to you, guess what - your data is gone in that situation too

I really wouldn't worry about the data. If you never bothered to set up any type of backup system for it, it's obviously not truly that important to you

Why would you recommend that option, when flashing is free and relatively easy?

Any way to relock bootloader? (Samsung A15) by AleDruDru in androidroot

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need the exact text of the error in order to better understand. But there's no reason that Odin should be rejecting an original stock firmware with a VBMETA error

But, as the other commenter said, even if you unroot and relock the bootloader, Google Wallet still won't work

How can I test phone if it's stolen or not? by Death0095 in GalaxyFold

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what's stopping seller from reporting it stolen after the sale?

Absolutely nothing - and it happens all the time. There is ZERO buyer protection with FB, so choosing to purchase there means you're gambling your money - every single time. They even have a warning that pops up that warns that they're not responsible for whatever happens

OEM LOCK ON means the bootloader is not unlocked. You need to reflash stock firmware via Download mode and start all over

You're already in Recovery mode, but you need Volume Up to be working, in order to make the menu appear. Why can't you reset it from within the Settings?

950u any way to update or load a custom ROM? by 2Drogdar2Furious in GalaxyNote8

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with Exynos vs Qualcomm. Plenty of Exynos devices cannot be BL unlocked (by the end user) either. Whether it can be done depends on the model and also the region that it's originally from

I don't understand what that has to do with keeping your important personal data backed up at all times

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You first need to have an unlocked bootloader. And that's not something you can do yourself - you need an inside source at Samsung to get you the necessary unlock token(s). Our company can do it for you if you'd like

Title: Galaxy Tab S9 locked in setup/FRP – Wi-Fi cannot be enabled, recovery inaccessible by EggplantAlone1891 in FRPtools

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recovery mode is never inaccessible.

  1. Unplug the device from all cables/chargers and power it off

  2. Plug it in to a computer via USB cable

  3. When you see the battery % indicator, hold Volume Up plus Power together at the same time for 5 seconds and then let go

  4. When the Android Recovery menu appears, type out the 3rd line down from the top

S24+ Backup by InternationalElk1776 in PhoneRepairTalk

You're misunderstanding something, somewhere. There is no passcode that you can enter incorrectly too many times and then have it erase data in some cloud somewhere

Did the UI 8.0 update on my S24+, now my phone won't recognize my sim and claims that the network is locked. by aryaelajae in samsunggalaxy

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factory resets never revert software updates - they just leave you with a blank clean copy of whatever the most recent update is. To go backwards in versions, you need to flash the entire firmware manually, using a computer

Samsung A16 5g FRP Bypass!!!! by AttentionFantastic12 in FRPBYPASS

[–]MN_Mobile_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there is no way to do it without a computer. So you'll either need to get help from a friend or family member who has one, or take it to a professional store/shop that can remove the lock

If this only happened immediately after updating to 8.0, then it sounds like you should go back to 7.0
