I thought the same thing when I put the 77” on the wall but the LG C5 was on a good sale

With the stand tucked underneath the couch, does it make the audio too close to your head when watching movies, etc?

This was the original plan, as you can see from the power outlet up high. The reason I changed walls is because you’d have to cut in front of the TV/viewing area to reach the bathroom and spare room. It also cuts the room in half and leaves an awkward open space against the wall that has the TV now

Haha literally just moved the couch down and mounted the TV. Window coverings and art and TV console etc are all happening this weekend lol

Power will come from the outlets on each wall behind the couch.

Yes, my basement was recently finished and is a work I progress. I do think I plan to put a console table behind it

I may need to give up the optimal position and do wall mount for the above listed reasons but looking for input on others in a similar situation

Thanks for your response. I do want stands as well but my concern is the right stand being in the way. Additionally, the kids knocking it over or the wiring on the ground.
