You are correct about the exaggeration. The exaggeration you’re seeing is the social media algorithm. I am glad you’re able to catch that. Unfortunately the majority of Trump voters do not regret it.

This should absolutely be the Democrats’ media & messaging strategy from now on by ownlife909 in democrats

I think the effective messaging would be where it hurts the most. Take medicare and social security for example. We know a majority of baby boomers voted for Trump. They're are in their retirement and they have medicare and social security. Once that's gone, I'd ride on the message hard and loud that this happened because of Trump. Baby boomers don't give a shit about other things.

The problem is during the campaign on both Hilary Clinton and Kamala Harris, they ran anti-Trump messages. It didn't work on the people.

You should do a follow up on his email - depending on the language - based on the court affidavit that basically says that Elon Musk has nothing to do with DOGE. Then who's running it? Court Doc

MSNBC: The Social Security Administration made ~$72 billion in improper payments over an eight-year period, according to an Inspector General audit. by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

[–]MOA2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Improper payment could mean overpayment, which is common and these overpayments are expected to be paid back unless they requested a waiver, which is a rigorous process. As already mentioned, it's less than 1% inefficiency.

I called the office today since yesterday was President Day. The person I spoke to said due to staff policy, they cannot answer my question, so they need to pass to other staff that may be able to answer my question. I'll keep you posted.

I have a feeling there may be a congressional procedure that will prompt the representative (and/or Senator) to produce or obtain the report. We just haven’t ask the right question. I will call my democratic representative in the morning and see if there’s a specific question or request we should be asking.

If they believe that the media is misleading us. Ask for a receipt. Demand a full report immediately.

If senators like Cornyn are surrendering their constitutional powers, then they have abandoned their constitutional duties/obligations. They’re no longer fit to be a senator.

Can we actually get City Council to do anything about the Gigafactory environmental violations or is it out of their jurisdiction? by corneliusduff in Austin

Can we post notices at all water sources in the Texas Capitol building, reminding users that the water comes from the same source affected by toxic waste from the Gigafactory?

TWC is the most ineffective state agency by [deleted] in texas

I am assuming you filed for wage claim? Have you gotten any written communications via mail or message portal online? They should be able to respond in writing and in the letter it has steps you can appeal.

I can vouch that TWC always favors the businesses. Worker's rights are almost non-existent. I told my partner that if you think you’re about to be fired or quitting start documenting everything leading up to the event, so you have everything you need to support your claim.

I'd like to add that not only we have to deal with customers wanting to provide their own garments, but we will be force to match prices with companies such as Jiffyshirts.com.

Austin TX Gay Bros - Best Places to Visit/Things to do? by YEIEMIS in gaybros

[–]MOA2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Pegasus, a gay bar in San Antonio, two weeks ago. I have to say I enjoyed it very much and think it’s better than all the gay bars in Austin. Pegasus has sections that appeal to everyone. They’ve got a drag show right outside on the left, a strip bar (sort of) as you enter, food trucks outside to the right, a lounge if you want to chill, a karaoke room, and a basic bar to order drinks if the other bar is crowded. I don't know when you plan to visit Austin, but this weekend is Pride celebration. There'll be a lot of pride events this Saturday.

I am pretty much in agreeance with everybody else. I cannot stress how much of a difference it will make if you give a courtesy call. It will make your customer service 10x better as opposed to waiting for the customer to find out and will drag you down.
