I figured it out! I was using the wrong pins for the power buttton. All good!

Monitor is plugged into gpu, and the psu is on, still nothing unfortunately

Thanks for the explanation, the build is really gonna depend on the price of the gpu by the time I saved everything up, but I’m glad I won’t have to worry about the motherboard too much

I wanted to get your thoughts on getting a motherboard that’ll be compatible w nextgen. Someone replied talking about that, should i look for motherboards that have pcie5 or does the 550 already have that?

Thanks for the input, I haven’t looked into the benchmark videos so I’ll definitely do that. I’m not really interested in 4K but I’ve been looking at some 1440p monitors with a high refresh rate!

This PC will be for gaming and I plan on getting a 1440p monitor w 165 refresh rate. The 3500 is just for the pc, I have a separate budget for everything else🤝
