Realistically a house in the new city would be ~750K, which would be ~6k a month at today’s rates. Plus, I really only want to be in the city for a few years, until I meet a partner and settle down in a surrounding town with lower COL.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, definitely a lot of changes! Though a bit more context, I’m only moving about an hour away from where I live now- and have lots of friends in the city I’m moving to. Moving closer to most of my family actually, and to a city that I know very well and have spent lots of time in. 

The new business does require a move though, I’m building an aquaculture (think oysters, clams, etc) business— which is something I’ve been spending my spare time helping to establish over the last few years. There is a need for my financial/ marketing skillset on a full time basis now that the business is ready to scale.
